In terms of "quaffage" (the ability of a beer to slide seamlessly down my gullet)....... I go with any well presented Marzen Oktoberfest..... a good balance of clean malt and hops..... not pretending to be anything but pure mass consumption perfection...... in my most humble opinion LOL

I just drooled over my next Ayinger Oktoberfest and an OMC Mecktoberfest (kick ass local version).

Add a temperate early October weekend and a good college football game on the tube with the grill goin'---

    good call.

Columbus IPA. Every time I pour a glass it seems to be empty and begging for a refill. Good thing it's fresh and reasonable in my area.

Grain Belt Nordeast - ice cold and on draft at the end of a 30 mile bike run through rural MN, sitting outside on the deck. Fisrt one was gone in a blink of the eye.
