Avery Oud Floris hitting the stores?

so really, did the damned truck break down or what? where's my oud floris?

I was told The Beast is out this week as well as the FW DDBA. Sounds like it's going to be an expensive week.

 

Yep... bottling The Beast right now, actually. Drinking The Beast (for QC reasons, of course) at 830am is not advisable. Tasty, but your productivity drops quickly.

Oud Floris went to our distributor last Friday, but it appears that our sales dudes are doing most of the deliveries to stores by hand in order to get them on the shelves more quickly. But we don't have a lot of sales dudes, so it'll take a few days for sure.

And yes, we always listen when people ask us if we will bottle Tweak. I can't say we've talked about it at length, though... with tank space as tight as it is and a new brewery on the horizon, we're pretty busy. I wouldn't say that we will *never* package Tweak, but I can't say I'd make any bets on it happening soon. Still, I'd love to have a couple of bottles of Tweak in the fridge for dessert pairings and/or morning beers...

 

Can I please officially get in the front of the line to get one of said bottles if you do this? Ask Holly, I promise I will make it worth your while. (Not $$. BEER.)

just ran into the distributor as i was walking out of parker payless. heard lukas is releasing it this saturday.

yeah, they got it. he walked in with a case. i got the manager to jump through some hoops and sell me two. i paid uncle jacobs prices. i', going back in tomorrow and talking with joel or kevin to find out if the price is right.

I have bought 3 of these barrel releases and they have all been priced the same.

 

It was $10.49 at Mayfair Liquors 30 minutes ago.

 

For those of you down south, Bubbles in Castle Rock just put these on the shelf. They didn't even have them in the system yet when I picked up my two at $9.99 each, not sure how many they have but I left 3 on the shelf, I'm assuming they have more in back.

I didn't, sorry. I actually was only stopping in to do some window shopping since I blew most of my beer allowance earlier in the month with a few trades but once I saw some Oud Floris I figured I had to pick some up while I had the chance. I'm just hoping the beating from the wife isn't severe once she finds out haha.

 

Why must a beer budget exist...

 

if i weren't married i have a feeling my mortgage would be half what it is and my beer budget would be sky high...

Damn beer budgets. Waiting for mine to reset next week. I spent way too much money on VT beers this month.

 

I'm not sure I'd worry too much. Avery said they only sold 60 of the 250 cases at the release and said it's staying in CO. Should be around for a little while.

 

Picked up some at co liquor mart, mayfair, Arg, and joy. Drinking one now and I love it. Might be my favorite of the series I have tried.
