Stopped by my local packie in SECT today to see what was coming in this week and he says "I have some sour oak aged rye coming in from this place called The Bruery from CA. Never heard of them." What do ya know...The Bruery now lists distribution in CT through Craft Beer Distributing of CT even though they have yet to list The Bruery as part of their portfolio on their site. Sour in the Rye in CT??? Anyone else seeing The Bruery on the shelves in CT?

Wow, very nice! I remember picking up some stuff from them in Boston back in early 2011 so I guess it was only a matter of time before one of our distros got some.

I imagine we'll probably only get some stuff here or there and get the middle of the road beers. Would be crazy to get some of the really good stuff, though. Fingers crossed.

Saw my first Bruery in CT today at Manchester W&L. They had Sour in the Rye (new Terreux labels) for $22 and Cuivre for $32. I counted about 12 bottles of Sour in the Rye and six of Cuivre.

Yes.. Around the same price I believe. I picked up the cuivre since it was their anniversary beer and bourbon barreled a little more rare I believe. Think I'm gonna cellar it after reading up on it more..

Not a bad idea. I already had a haul of stuff when I saw them behind the register so I passed on them both for now. I'm sure they won't be sold fast...too expensive.

Amity Wine & Spirits had a bottle of one of their Anniversary ales (they said they weren't expecting it and I didn't see it on your link, @NobleJayJesse, I think it was Cuivre) for something to the tune of $34. I passed, but I will be looking for some of the other stuff.

I was at Beer'd and Malted Barley this weekend for Father's Day and I stopped by Dick's World of Wine in Westerly. Picked up Saison Rue for $16. Phenomenal. Anybody seen it in CT? Would be interested to see what its going for here.
