@vitaminvert im currently packing your box. I saw the following beer on your wants. However remembering how I got it, I think either @PG2G from this thread or @treshojas from SWTFYW sent this to me so I felt bad adding it without trying it. But don't worry, I've hit a few wants, both local to me and overseas!

I just have to VBS this and compliment Lagunitas -- I just think these guys are amazing, and very affordable, and in a weird way it sucks that they have such wide distribution because there's no reason for any of us to send their stuff to each other. But I'm still thrillled I found this locally on a shelf -- it is SO good (although at 12+ % and 22 oz, it's definitely my only beer for tonight).

 

I agree with ya Mike about the price point and quality of Lagunitas. But, that particular bottle doesn't seem to make a lot of Distro in the southern states. I looked in KY, Tennessee and NC and found 0. I did find a couple in my travels to AZ and have seen it on draft in KY and NC though. Either way it's a great damn beer, amazing even for the price.

 

Yes, I think I just got lucky -- this is apparently the only barrel aged beer they've distributed widely. I'm going to go tomorrow and see if there is any more on the shelves. I am basically at the point now where when I go to buy beer, about 20% of what I buy is for me and the other 80% is for Da Locals.

 

Friendly fire, or so I thought from a fellow southerner @Clarkson. Simple blind trade sending ADWTD and the man f'd my porch up. Hell, I was even on vacation when this bomb landed. My wife couldn't even enter through the front door. Here's what's left of our ramp....

Dude killed it. All are wants or should be wants. And all are new to me. Can't wait to try them all. This, to me is what The Locals are all about.

AA sort of Hint #3: My target has a lot of wants, very few of which are local to me -- but many of which I can obtain. So he will probably get a mix of wants and Locals.
AA Hint #4: My target is the only member of the Locals from his state
AA Hint #5: My target is NOT @treznor
AA Hint #6: My favorite professional sports team has had two players in its history with the same last name as my target
AA Hint #7: My favorite team in a DIFFERENT professional sport has also had a player with the same last name as my target
AA Hint #8: I had too many beers on my "potential" list to send to my target (yes, I have a spreadsheet). He checked one of them in this weekend, so he ain't getting that one.

Enjoy. I know that ADWTD is a pricier and more rare bottle than what I have to offer, so I made up with it in quantity. And quite frankly, you have a ton of TX wants so that made it easy.
