It's very weird to me that they would be in different sized bottles, I'm not sure what the reasoning for that is. But I'll take Freak in any sized container I can get it in. Probably won't buy many of the tiny Pernicious bottles though.

Nice labels for both, as I'd expect from WW.

I think I would like it more if they were reversed, and the DIPA was in the smaller format. I'm pretty burned out on big DIPAs in bombers or other bigger formats; seems as if they're specifically made for bottle shares and not day to day consumption.

Wonder if we'll see 330ml and 500ml cans at some point?

My girlfriend recently went on the Funkatorium tour and the guide did say that they special order all their bottles from a company in Europe. If I remember correctly, I think the reason they do so is because of the bottoms of the bottles being the optimal shape to keep sediment at the bottom without it being disturbed.

Anyways, if they sell the Pernicious in 4-packs, fine. But, if they sell them as single bottles, they'd better be at a price that's substantially lower per ounce than the 500 mL Freak bottles or else it just makes no sense.

He never did, I just picked up his unhappiness by the "(330ml?!)" finish to the title as well as "I'm trying to think of another US brewery going w/ 330ml/11.2oz bottles...can't think of one. Anyone?".

Come on people he doesn't sound too pleased about the format.

I wonder what the price point will be for these bottles. WW makes some great beer, but their stuff is almost always priced higher than comparable beers (same style, ABV, good rating) in central NC. I hope when they get their new facility up and running these year-round bottles will be at a better price per oz than they are on tap/growlers. Don't get me wrong, I love their beer, but I wish I could afford to drink it more often.

Also, gotta give a shout out to their illustrator Howell Golson for another awesome label.

I'm hoping we see bottles soon. Pernicious has been EVERYWHERE around charlotte lately. Maybe to get the idea of pernicious in people's minds so when it drops more people know how delicious it is

Which of their beers would you say are priced higher than comparable NC beers? Their IPA's don't cost anymore than other IPA's that I've ever seen. And while their sours are pretty high, there really aren't any other comparable NC beers in that category that are available.
