And yes, we have glass sampling cups. This was just a quick tasting we did with our sales staff in the morning and we used plastic cups. My bad...

 

Just purchased starkelller at Napa valley liquor in Otsego

 

I also got a couple bottles in New Ulm today. $16.89 each.

 

Napa Valley only got a case. Not sure what they got for other releases, but know they hated how it sat on the shelf.

 

haskells in maple grove was sitting on four cases of north country brunette last time i was there. had it marked down to $9.99 a bottle.

 

I think that was my least favorite. I just recently picked up a Framboise du Nord and need to snag another Black Forest Cherry.

Is anybody going to give us some info on the taste here? A few high scores but no notes.

I just haven't had time to go and look for bottles yet. My grad school final project is due soon and that kind of takes priority.

Ugh, let's not buy this all up dudes. We let the other ones sit on the shelves for a year, don't act like it's a whale all of a sudden.

$17.49/bottle seems a little steep, I think I paid $14.99/bottle for the others I've tried

With Schell's saying the yield was low and interest of the series growing outside of the Midwest and then there is also the whole peach thing. I think this release is going to go pretty quick unfortunately.

 

Oh I get that.. But if people are buying cases to hoard/trade thinking they're gonna get whalez for it (looking at you TBoneRN) that is really annoying. I'll send a few to regular trade partners, but I"ve also sent them the others in the line. Definitely not gonna grab a case to hoard.
