Has to be close. There were a little more than 6 cases when I left yesterday at 1130.

My guess for this one is the BB Kriek...we all "know" its coming, just depends if it is this release or the next. I havent seen a lot of guesses on the 4the release though.

I have heard speculation that it will be a barrel aged stout in October an R&D first! BB Kriek in August.

Still curious what the Smoke'N Oak trademark filed last June is for.

Whatever it was didn't work out (yet?). Trademark is currently abandoned.

If they do a barrel aged stout I Sure hope the base is thick enough. I hate watery stouts. Like them thick like I like my women.

Quick word on this- remember that Dan chooses when to release these beers. So if he feels line he's released this at peak flavor, I see no reason to doubt him. That doesn't mean it won't age well, just that he is happy with how it tastes now.

I also heard he said that wild bitter would get better, so I take all with a grain of salt.

I can confirm the one thing that matters, Vintage is a damn fine beer.

Has any R & D ever been remade as an R & D? I know R&D's have eventually been remade as Thumbprints (Wild Sour) but has any R&D been made twice?

I ask because everyone is under the assumption Bourbon Barrel Kriek will be an R&D release. I took a hard hat tour over a year ago and at that time Dan was discussing Bourbon Barrel Kriek as a Thumbprint release that he thought might be out by the end of 2014.

Everyone's been talking about BB Kriek forever...we still know nothing more than we did before. Until they announce it as either a Thumbprint or an R&D, I don't believe anything as fact.

Huh? Wild Sour was never released as an R&D.

I guess the closest thing to having an R&D beer remade was 2014 Vintage vs 2010 Gueuze.

I think he's referencing the R&D Sour Ale, but I'm pretty sure (especially based on taste) that's a different beer than the Thumbprint Wild Sour.

Quote from Dan Its definitely worth aging, take that for what it means. This is based on the great reports they continue to get on the Peach version as people continue to pop bottles. The general consenses at the brewery however is,DRINK IT NOW

2010 R&D Gueuze and Vintage 2014 are both gueuze. So yeah, you could technically say that Dan has brewed two batches of R&D Gueuze.
