Everything I've had from Hill Farmstead has lived up to the talk.
More recently, the beers from Casey Brewing & Blending have also 100% met my expectations.

old rasputin has always been my first thought when it comes to living up to the hype. nothing much to say that most of us don't already know, it's simply one of the best beers that has ever been brewed. conversely, stone's quadrotriticale also "met my expectations" in that it tasted exactly how i should have expected a quad made by stone to taste.

Another vote for Sip of Sunshine. Sunday Morning Stout really delivered as well.

Grapefruit Sculpin was that way for me. Had just the right grapefruit taste to compliment the already delicious IPA.

Stone Russian Imperial Stout, very easy to get but still better than KBS in my opinion.
