After working storm trouble a few nights last week and taking care of sick little ones this weekend, I finally have some time to catch up (I'm so fukin far behind!) Before I start reading the 25+ pages I'm behind (ain't happening tonight cuz I'm bout to knock out) let me post some pRon from one of those AWESOME Colorado boys we have.

After seeing @vitaminvert 'sour cabinet' I sent him a BM asking if he could get me a few Crooked Stave bottles for my 12 Days target (hint, hint) and boy did he deliver!


First off, a couple new ones for me to try which both look really good.


Not only did Andrew throw FOUR CS bottles in there, but he also tossed in a BA sour ale from Avery! It isn't the first, and definetly won't be the last time I send out some bottles I haven't tried yet but it's gonna hurt a little this time. You're in here somewhere target, I hope you enjoy these. For those of you that have recieved a box from this very generous man, you know there's gotta be more. .

Same here. I've tried it a time or two and didn't care for it. But I know it was before the Best After date so almost considered picking up more to actually age. But I have too much damned beer to worry about it so I didn't...

 

Left my house yesterday at 5pm and it was 94. By the time I left the state shortly after 7:30 it was actually up to 97. Thankfully where I am now is a much more sane 60s-70s (though my wife and dog would argue about the 'thankfully' part).

 

Does anyone know the best after date? im almost positive i drank mine way before that.

VBS: IPA from Woodland Empire in Boise, one of the best breweries you've never heard of. Very small bottle runs but worth it

How's Ray taking the loss? lol Saw his rant about Cleveland the other day and I almost felt sympathetic for him. He should just move to Chicago, at least we produce a winning team in one sport every other decade.

 

AA Round box dropped off this morning -- a mix of wants (less than the maximum number of ounces, with a weighted rAvg of 4.29) and Locals (less than the maximum number of ounces, with a weighted rAvg of 4.19). The total of the two might have exceeded the max by a tiny bit.

Fedex currently says expected delivery tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure that will change to Friday.

Special bonus hint -- I was going to give a time zone related hint very early in this round, but it wasn't worth the effort to figure out whether my target was or was not in the same time zone as me.
