    Haha I worked at 1133 6th back then, late 70's, right next to Studio 54. Crazy 70 hour work weeks in a brief short-hair/business suit foray into the world of finance (yeah I know it's hard to believe). Might have seen you coming in or out, but we hit jazz clubs downtown in those days.

    I am in this age range and I wouldn't say I witnessed the beginning. I am in my late 30s so I was a baby when the first craft beers started up in this country. Most of the beers I love didn't even open until I was out of high school. As far as being part of the generation that first recognized and appreciated craft beer on a larger scale, yes.
