Carton Brewing - Dune Fruit Cactus Sour

Excited to try this and learn a lil more about the cactus. (Gives me fun trivia facts from living up this way to spew at the family).

Also, I'm guessing a possible canning of this could happen????OR am I jumping the gun and potentially starting a riot?

 

Really interesting. When does this hit the tap at the brewery?

 

I mean I don't mind either way, but it'll be nice to have a beer that I can crush again after doing manly/simple outdoor activities such as grilling. Especially a sour.

 

talked to the guys at the brewery last weekend, and it will be canned...likely sooner than you think

 

Sooner as in this weekend? I'm heading there tomorrow to pick up cans for a wedding with a buddy and I'm hoping this will be there.

 

According to their Facebook post cans sold out last Saturday and they didn't have any ready as of yesterday.

 

Cant wait!

 

Hoping it's released by Fathers Day since I'll most likely be down the street.

 

Any word when this will be hitting. They haven't posted anything on their FB yet.

That would really really really work out for me. Spending the day with my family who lives three blocks up on the same dang street as Carton.

Damn, I'll be down at Carton on Saturday celebrating my first Father's Day, because I'm working on Sunday. Always miss these things by one friggin day.

 

I hope this release isn't like Regular Coffee. That was a crazy hype monster, and I blame myself for posting a pic of when I got my four pic to a local group. When people are buying like 3 mugs at a time, you know it'll be crazy haha.

If it's like MCTW release last year, I'd be so happy.

 

I don't think its going to be crazy. I feel like they always have enough to last at least a week when they have limited release cans.

 

unfortunately seems like the hype train has grown quite a bit since then. the MCTW release last year was absolutely awesome, and it got progressively worse until reg coffee which was a shitshow...hoping for the best as well though haha

 

I think Reg Coffee was "bad" in the sense we all as locals told everyone and everything it was the best thing Carton ever made. The sours are still pretty low key comparatively as to the proverbial "hype." That's why I have hope still for a chill vibe as always getting Carton Beer and sitting on their couches that remind me of "casting couches." haha

 

Looks like it will be Sunday. Dont think it says whether or not it will be in cans...
