Miller Lite, really lived up to expectations. A standout!

In all serious though, Creature Comforts Cosmik Debris was everything I thought it would be (and maybe even a little more) and that's about as high as expectations can get. Easily comparable to Dinner.

Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro. I was expecting a tasty milk stout and that's exactly what it was. I'm thinking to get another sixer :grinning:

Lagunitas Sucks. I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago, and wow, it really is delicious.

I had KBS on Sunday night to get ready for a job interview. After waiting a long time to finally get my hands on a bottle (I managed to get 5 ), I was very impressed and it measured up exactly to what I had in mind but the actual experience made it even better.

Rather than list great beers I drank that I expected to be great, some beers that met my expectations about the way they were going to taste - which I think is more what the OP was driving at, are:

Funky Buddha stuff like French Toast, MBCP, No Crusts - crazy how they nail those flavors.

Staying in Florida, what about Due South Coconut Bay Breeze? That's exactly what it tastes like. Caramel Cream tastes like Cream soda (not a fan of that one but tastes as expected).

Also Coffee Cinnamon B-Bomb from Fremont, and Bourbon Carrot Cake from Shorts, for sure. Or Xata was on point for me too.

    a great many:

    Rochefort 6
    Rochefort 10
    Westmalle Dubbel
    Orval
    Prairie Bomb!
    Victory at Sea
    Sculpin
    Enjoy By
    Karbach Cherries of Fire
    Karbach BBH
    Pilsner Urquell
    Old Rasputin

Of those, Victory at Sea stands out as the biggest blew-me-away beer. It truly is incredible.

There's probably a ton of beers that EXCEEDED my expectations, but most of those are because I value the style more than the average BA (Sierra Nevada Nooner Pilsner and every English pale ale I've tried immediately come to mind).

Many a beer has met my expectations. And sadly, many have let me down. I will save that for another thread. In recent memory, it has been...

    - Prairie Bomb!
    - FW Stickee Monkee
    - RR Consecration
    - RR Supplication
    - Lagunitas Brown Shugga' (after I aged it :grimacing:)
    - 2015 release of FW Parabola

I know I'm leaving many out of both categories but can't be bothered to think that hard atm...

I'm not a huge fan of Cantillon, yet this one was so good! I agree this exceeded my expectations as well.

BCBS, surprisingly. I usually find things overhyped.

I have a few 'odd' ones probably..

    Limo Tint by Prairie
    Kirsch Gose by Victory

Both I had expected good things from, and both delivered.
