missed the 4th and final small keg of CBS to make it here yet again, all on Wednesday nights when I work. I'm drowning my sorrows in some Grade A maple syrup.

Was supposed to make it there tonight, unfortunately did not... Did manage to make it to Dangerous Man (damn that Peanut Butter Porter is good!), Surly, and Indeed... and then made a poor decision and went karaoking the rest of the evening. Still haven't friggin' made it to Bauhaus!

 

Attacked? Seriously? I didn't realize we were all pretty, pretty pandas doing pretty, pretty dancing in here. If that felt like being attacked, I dunno man.

Good question, maybe you should ask sandman to post a pic of the beers he actually received and is whining about.

 

Since this seems to be a sensitive issue, he was very happy with the box he received and has no ill will for vini. I think the point was addressed a page or two ago.

 

I should also say there are two different points of view and opinions here that aren't thread specific. We can agree to disagree and move on.

I am the worst BA ever. I received this wonderful, right up my ally package on 6/5 and I haven't posted. But I have been busy. I had my youngest daughter 's high school graduation. Then a 50th wedding party for the in-laws. Then moved a daughter from one place to another in college. Then we had a graduation party for said daughter and finally her 2 day college orientation. I know it is still no excuse. Excuses are like A$$holes and everyone has one. I just seem to have many excuses.

This is beer that I will love. Of course not that special 40 oz. one. But I cant complain.

Two from carton
077XX & Boat.....both were wants. I also enjoyed them both getting ready for the grad party and they were very tasty.
Then two from Ale Werks
Both were bourbon barrel aged.
Cafe Royale and BB Porter. Both look and sound great!!!
Then there was one that I never heard about.
Supreme Leader from Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery.
Looks amazing as it is a spiced stout.
Again all of these look or already tasted amazing.

Haha, I did, in fact, chug it. Forgot to post evidence. It was definitely a little rough, but damn did it give me a hell of a buzz.

 

I wish I could make it! Happy you guys will be there though. come on down to maxs this weekend, or to @_RL_ 's share next weekend!

Awesome -- I will watch for them. I'm already watching for NYFRB around here -- it seems to be available some places in NYC and over the river in NJ, noplace within an hour of me though. That's one of the few beers I might actually buy a couple of 6 packs of.

As posted numerous times, I think Vinnie sent a great box, that's why I opted to have him send to me. I also like Vinnie personally and have drank with him before.

I, and others, just thought it was poor form to send a "gift" that was given to you and told to drink yourself. Many in the Locals group drank it, and seemed to have fun with it via pics etc.

I have no ill will towards Vinnie, and think his box was great. I just thought sending that 40 back was a bit insulting to our group.

 

Personally i thought the label was mostly funny, but the slogan and letter were a bit insulting to our group.. and no were aren't your little brothers

 

So............

I like beer.

 

I want to come hang out here more often. I also want to stop talking about this. Anybody wanna try that?
