    The Real Russian Roulette BIF

There are 6 "teams" of two players. Each team must ante up a whale and send it to the organizer. The organizer runs a number generator to pick the order of recipients. The box full of whales is then sent off to the first team on the list.

The catch: Also included into the box of whales is a top break revolver with one round in the chamber. When a team receives the box they must schedule a webcast with the other participating teams of the BIF. Live on camera one teammate must spin the chamber and fire the revolver at his "teammate". If the round is empty and the teammate survives, they send the box off to the next participant to repeat the process. Should all six teams survive the round the box gets shipped back to the organizer who puts another round into the chamber and redraws the order of recipients. Each round the team must switch off who shoots at who. The game ends when one teammate unloads a live round into another. That player gets to keep the box of whales to console him from the fact he just murdered a fellow BA and friend.

We all learn a valuable lesson.

    The Odor BIF

16 participants, shotgun style BIF. Everyone is required to send 100oz minimum of beer rated with a 1 for aroma. Also must send something with a foul odor. Rotting fish, moldy cheese, a dead skunk, rotten eggs, etc. Additional requirements include a piece of used clothing, unwashed, some type of Carrot top memorabilia, and a mix tape recorded on a cassete directly off the radio. Upon recieving the box, you must leave it on your porch in direct sunlight for minimum 1 day, bring into the house and hold off on opening for a week. Once the organizer says so, you must open the box, while videotaping yourself and the person who is genuinely most excited wins the complete Encycolpedia Brittania fom 1988, but must pick up in person.

    The Reserve Society Exclusive BIF

Everyone that joins must be a RS member. Shotgun style BIF, with multiple rounds. Each round, everyone is required to pack their 12 least favorite RS beers into a styro-shipper. Once all first round boxes have landed, the recipients open them up, re-pick their 12 least favorite beers, stuff them back into the shipper, and send to the next target. This happens for three to four more rounds.

By the end of the BIF, everyone ends up with pretty much the same bottles as they started with, and they've paid for multiple cross-country 40-pound boxes.

Perhaps I should stress the possible intent behind my idea. Imagine this scenario:

Target: "In the stubbies I liked #2 the best."
Shipper: "Oh, so you preferred the Duvel in the "Steini" over the KtG '12, got it."

Target: "The stouts were tough, but #1 edged them out."
Shipper: "I see, you liked the bomber of Abyss 09 more than the bomber of 09 BCBS? That's right, I removed the wax from the bottle of Abyss, uh huh."

Target: "One bottle you sent me was way oxidized. I couldn't even finish it."
Shipper: "So what did M look like being drain poured?"

    The JoJo BIF

This BIF is open to 50 people. Participants will send me beers off my wants. I will tell you I'm sending you a beer I don't have and hope that one of the other participants sends it to me so I can forward it to you. This will inevitably not happen, and I will send you a Captain Krunkles, maybe. All of this will happen in two days time. You will never hear from me again.

    The Pirate Bay Homebrew BIF

    1. Homebrew a clone of any beer
    2. You begin "seeding" this beer, anyone can request it, and you have to send it out
    3. Along with the beer, you send the recipe
    4. Those who receive the beer have to brew it and continue seeding
    5. Those who receive the beer must also seed a clone of a different beer
    6. This continues until getting a few bottles of PtY, Kate, etc. is as easy as finding a seeder and requesting it.

I'm looking for 12 well-off BAs willing to sponsor 12 BAs who are down on their luck. Each of the well-off BAs sends a 12 bottle shipper to me. I rummage through them, picking out the beers I like, and then I send out what's left.

    Rat Race BIF:

Each participant has 2 boxes: the decoy (crappy beers) and the loot (good beers). Targets are picked to all be a similar distance away. Each participant is charged with getting the decoy box unopened to the target's door using any means necessary without using any shipping company. Be it a massive road trip, paying off a hitchhiking hobo, or attempting to play the telephone game with friends/BAs across the country.

If the decoy makes it to the target intact and unopened, the target must send their loot to the person whose box they received. Naturally, the sender would be responsible for arranging video evidence of the decoy being delivered in case there is a dispute.
