Kuhnhenn 2015 Summer Solstice & Bottle Release

Planning on stopping by the taproom tomorrow. Do they typically post their taplist in advance for these events? Nothing on their FB yet - just the bottle release info.

 

If you don't see it posted today, you'll definitely see it tomorrow! I mean, when you walk through the doors of the taproom.

 

I wouldn't expect to see a taplist until you walk in the door on Friday. They didn't post one last year. Someone broke the Friday list last year when they walked in the door and saw the planned tappings on the board at 2pm before the 4pm release.

 

Still waiting for bottle count and allocation. How long do the bottles normally last? Long lines? Well organized?

Hahahahaha, organized? Kuhnhenn? They couldn't even post the right beers being released and it was only 2. One year they just forgot to make the BA Barleywine.

Was wondering the same myself, so read up on last year's post. Saw reports of people changing clothes and getting back in line for more. To me, this would indicate everyone gets through the line at least once....

 

390 4 packs made total. One 4 pack limit per person.

 

No mention of price though.

 

Last summer solstice was a much less sought-after release:

• BB4D >> 4D
• BBBW >> Solstice Stout (IMO; it's at least equal in terms of trade value, if you want to use that as a metric)

 

They posted it's $34 for a 4 pack.

Are you kidding me? I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday, those people look too bundled up to be in line right now.
I'm coming from GR, my wife is in Detroit already so I thought it would be a fun weekend. If its going to be a crazy mess, the forget it. Just wondering what an expected time is. Do they usually sell out right away?

 

It is pretty chilly in the evenings around here.

Just busting chops. I would wake up early, drive past and see what the line looks like. With BBA4D for sale, I would expect a huge line
