Maine Dinner Release June 20th, 2015

I installed a web came so I can watch the line from my office here in Kittery.

 

Off topic...I was thinking about stopping in Kittery for Mott's latest creation; "Fleur de Leigh"

If you could lmk, if the Webcam catches anything unusual in that generic area as well, it would be greatly appreciated...Dinner with a Bier de Mel sounds delish

 

I haven't had a chance to try it yet but everything that man puts out is great. Only issue this weekend is tomorrow is Kittery Block Party. Will be a shit show in town that day. I'd come today if possible.

Wow, it sounds like the system was much more efficient this time around! I was at the release in December, was #100 and didn't get it for an hour and a half after they sold the first case

 

I think they started selling at 7am on the dot; I was #333 and walked out at 8:01am. Terrific job, MBC

 

Very smooth today, I was there a bit before 5am, tickets came out a bit after 6am. Once you had your ticket you could walk around and grab coffee before you had to get back in line to go inside. Probably 4 or 5 points of sale once inside, some that were just for Dinner. I was number 139 and out by 7:20. Only thing I would have done different is a cash only line but this one still went plenty quick. Seemed like a very small line when I came back out and I saw that they tweeted they were opening the tasting room at 10am and had cases left. They had originally said tasting room at noon so I would guess the crowd must have been quite small by 9 or so...

 

Best release by far! I had a great time meeting @SRBush1974 - awesome IP trade and nothing like a couple beers at 6am!

Is it on tap in the tasting room? Flying in tomorrow around lunch time. Plan to stop by first thing

 

Yeah man - they said they had enough on tap to last at least through the weekend. You should be good to go!

So if there's only 80 cases available tomorrow - was this expected or a surprise to satiate demand for those like me who couldn't make it today? Any idea on lines?

 

I think lots were deterred today from the nightmare that was last release which is why there is excess, could be wrong though.
