I picked this up at the local beverage store on 06-11. Not overwhelmingly sour, but sour enough for my taste. Seems to fight itself a little with all the different flavors(Sour, Brett, Trippel). Still I liked it alot and will buy it again before it disappears.

I thought this was delicious. Only got 12 bottles at work and managed to get two, didn't want to be overly greedy. I could put this in my top 20 though

this beer was pretty meh. I was disappointed, as I love everything Victory has done prior to this.

no sign of Golden Monkey in this, and the sour note is not balanced by any funk or character

Kind of annoyed that at least 2 of the Weis stores in York have this beer tagged as Deep Cocoa on both the shelf tag and in the computer system for $11.49. And nobody seems willing to fix it. Sorry but I'm not paying that since you first sold it for $8.99 a couple weeks ago.

Whole Foods still has some on the shelf in Dublin for $10.99.

It's fantastic! Here in GA we got Sour Monkey and Prairie Somewhere Sour Farmhouse almost back to back; if you like the Sour Monkey search out the Prairie Somewhere; most sour farmhouse I've ever had but well balanced and awesome. Kinda pricey down here at $9.99 18oz but well worth it.

Ive enjoyed the Sour Monkey quite a few times now and i must say its good. Very tart with a high abv and a good price point ($9.99). Cant beat it!

Grabbed 4 bottles of it this weekend. Cracked one and enjoyed it. The others are going into the cellar. Curious to see what some age does to it.

Totally agree, especially with the last part.

Great beer for the price point. Reminded me of Pizzaboy Eternal Sunshine a little. Obviously Eternal Sunshine is smoother with a nuanced taste, drier finish, a lower abv% and better color, but for the availability of Victory products, this is a good product, and allows people outside of Central Pennsylvania to get a taste of a locally inspired product.

It is in NY. And I had it on tap in CT. Went out of my way for it and it was worth it.

Just tried for the first time yesterday. Wound up crushing one 750ml midday & then had to grab another for the evening, guess I must've liked it...

Feel glad to pick this up in the Pittsburgh area for only 9.99. For a minute I felt a bit ripped off since the case is costing only 95 dollars but to hear people paying as much as 17.99 is crazy talk

got two bottles today in DC for $10.99. beers tend to be priced higher here, so i was happy with the price. not much different from the $9.99 many folks seemed to be paying.

can anyone confirm that the beer is still alive? does Victory ever pasteurize their beers? i'm seeing dregs at the bottom of the bottles so that's a positive sign... but ya never know.

For the price, it's a very decent sour. It's basically exactly what you'd expect it to be, not flashy, but still tasty
