My main point is just like you dont think it is fair to judge Witch's hat based on their size, I dont think it is fair to judge Kuhnhenn based on what you feel their output should be. I would be happy that they are releasing BA4D and BBBW at the summer solstice. They didnt used to release such high octane beers at the summer party. While you probably know many of the limiting factors for Witch's Hat, there are probably many that you dont know for kuhnhenn's. They dont have a crazy amount of extra space and maybe the output is lower due to kegging more than usual.

Agreed, the FB post they are likely mentioning is from 2013.

Well, all this is enough for me to change my mind on trying to get bottles. No way I can get there before 9. Have to work late tonight and I'm not getting 3 hours of sleep for four bottle of beer, albeit assuredly great beer.

    Research?

I am sitting in my office at the brewery right now, and frantically trying to find out where this was posted, because it is not true and I am trying to stop the spread of misinformation.

So, pardon my ignorance, as I am just trying to help.

It was an ironic joke, my friend hyped up the supposed deal to me a few days ago... Before finding out it was an old facebook post.

"hey, i'm here to remind you, to remind me that we need to touch hands at some point"

    Two questions:

    1. When I arrive tomorrow early AM, where do I park? I know their parking lot can only hold like 50 cars, if that.

    2. Has the line started yet?

I really don't understand why you have a "bottle release" when you have less than 5 bbls of beer being bottled. I'd much more prefer the keg it idea that many people have brought up or the silent release idea. Why make a big deal about such a small amount?

It's a lot simpler than that. Kuhnhenn isn't making most of their money off bottles. They are making money off of the other things they sell as part of the release party. They sell $500 hotel/beer/dinner packages, tons of special release drafts, t-shirts, growlers, etc.

Not promoting an event like this is a recipe for disaster.

The only recourse would be to still have the event, but move the bottle release to a silent release on a different day.

If you are early the lot should be fine just circle around back. If not then i usually park on a side street nearby but they usually have overflow Parking as well.

To clarify, @LiquidTable did say on this thread that the $500 hotel deal was NOT a thing this year, but aside from that, I take your point. I do wish there was a little more for tomorrow, maybe a 6pk limit instead of 4 (throw in two bottles of some IPA like Forbidden or something) but you certainly can't complain about the "quality" of what they're releasing.
