    It was Prop 13/14 as I live in Chicago, am a huge fan of BCBS, but am always out of town around thanksgiving... I got to try a sample of prop 14 and traded away a lot for a bottle of 13, so mission accomplished.

    Right now if we are talking realistic white whales I guess I am trying to land atrial rubicite, have been on a JK kick lately but no luck on any of the more sought after fruited ones.

    Would like to try a dark lord variant, but don't particularly want to go to DLD or trade an arm and a leg - have a friend who lucked out with a bottle but he is letting them get some age before cracking.

    Similar deal with the bourbon barrel aged stouts from Side Project and BA Abraxas - huge wants, but just don't have the trade ammo. Just not obtainable right now.

    As a "spiced stout" fan mine was DB Huna. A regular trading partner of mine knew this and gave me a bottle and asked for nothing in return. I have yet to drink it but when I do I may just stop drinking all together.

    Definitely hypeworthy! Pint Room in Carmel, IN had a Bell tap takeover and had Black Note on draft. I made a comment that day to another guy on Facebook on the Pint Room page and the bar manager liked my comment so he told me to come in and get me a free beer....Black Note it was! Delicious

    I don't really have any highly wanted "whale" beers anymore after last night when I finally got to try Heady, PtE and Dreadnaught... And two weeks ago Permanent Funeral. That about wrapped up my white whale list, personally.

    But if I had to pick some other ones that I would like to have if I come across, it would be the Sunshine's by Lawsons, CBS, Julius and Focal Banger.

    I sent a can as an "extra" with someone I traded with after I scores some Dinner at the April release. I felt like what I was getting the best of the trade by a large margin and needed to balance things out. It went over well :slight_smile:
