That is my point. We could have asked our employees, distributor employees and used our social media to ask people to vote for us and we probably would have won. We did not do that.

So what you're saying John is that we are all wasting our time continuing to read this thread as it was very limited in who was included to vote for and also who actually vote?

You don't need to do it and the poll is un-scientific.

I read his post as saying "The people who voted decided who won." So we can't yell at Vita.MN for being idiots. If anything the people complaining are at fault, as they probably didn't vote.

Fulton? Really? Sweet Child 'o Vine is beyone mediocre IMO. Never had anything else from them that's been very impressive. I don't get this at all.

war and peace is fantastic, the libertine was pretty good too. that being said, I don't think Sweet Child is much of a contender. Furious, Bandwagon, Size 7 and Saga totally crush it

I am not targeting Vita.MN at all here. They are a great publication that I read frequently. I am just saying people coming here to see what the TC population voted as best beer, best brewery, etc will be dissapointed. I agree with your last sentence whole heartedly.

One "fantastic" beer and one "pretty good" beer does not make you the "Best Twin Cities Brewery." I wouldn't even put Fulton in my top 10.

If you don't vote, don't bitch. Who cares! I am sure there will be a list in The Onion next month or something else ranking the best bathroom on Hennepin or something like that

Leave it to a guy from Rochester to stir things up in the Cities.

    P.S. What happened to KeefD?

Wow, you don't like their beer so you hope they go out of business? Pretty harsh. I don't care for Camo that much, and it seems not many on this site do either, but who died and made us the absolute judges of what is good and isn't? Dyno on the other hand I found to be very enjoyable. I for one hope they are successful and wish them the best.

I am glad that these lists are affecting my taste-buds and telling me where to go drink and what I have to drink when I get there.

Let's be real, most of us on BA know the TC beer scene pretty well and can make beer decisions on our own.

It is fun to look at these lists, but why bother arguing/complaining about what's on it (or not on it)?

I have to chime in on this too. You are being way to harsh. While I am not big on Camo,, their Dyno is decent and the Summertide (not in a Firkin) is pretty good too. I am hoping they will continue to improve and bring us some good beers.

I found Surfside and Summertide as enjoyable beers. Not something I would buy in a bottle again because of the stupid bombers, but I am glad I gave Lucid a second chance.

Because part of the point of these types of lists and posting them is to start some conversation...that's all. I don't know that anyone is really arguing since it's all subjective and arguing taste-buds is ridiculous, but hearing out people's opinions is what it's all about. Just to stir up some conversation.

I don't think Yulles is being harsh at all.

I've only had Camo. But it was so bad, & in an expensive bomber to boot, that I won't bother to buy anything from them again until I hear they're making good beer consistently.

Maybe their other beers are decent, or good, but there are simply too many good-to-great options out there for me to drop money on a brewer that violated my taste buds in such a foul manner.

Harsh in that he seems to hope their business fails.
