    3,000 bottles x $25 = $75,000. Not bad for 2 hours of sales.

If this madness keeps up I won't be able to afford special release beer. They will be charging $50 a bottle soon and who could blame them.

I have no idea if 3000 is accurate...heard some guys talking in line, for all I know they could have been guessing.

EDIT: 3000 bottles is 250 cases...I doubt they had that many.

I could see that being the total bottles for Nooner 9 + RareDos

500 plus 2500 kinda matches the allotment per person and timing it took to sell out.

Plenty of people didn't buy cases but there were definitely people who brought a friend and walked out with 24 nooner9s.

Lmfao @ those saying 3,000 bottles of nooner 9.

I think around 300 for Nooner 9 is far more accurate. There is no way they sold 3,000 in two hours that would be 250 folks each buying a case and I don't even think that's logistically possible in less then 2 hours. As others stated maybe combined 3000 bottles

More like 350ish bottles of Nooner.

    350ish Nooner9 bottles
    4000 Rare DOS

No vanilla in the Nooner9, only rye spice, despite it being labeled "Vanilla", like Monday was "Cherry Vanilla". You didn't miss out, besides the cool bottle!!! Supposedly more releases to come! Look out!

The working behind the bar told me it was Rye barrel with vanilla beans.

You guys, I meant, it has no Vanilla taste whatsoever. Its kind of sugary sweet RareDOS but it has no reminiscent flavor of Vanilla Rye. Sorry if I wasn't clear. The bottle is Vanilla Rye Nooner 9 but you aren't missing out, don't trade an arm and a leg expecting loads of vanilla. It just taste like RareDOS with some bitter spice on the backend from the rye. Smells like sugar.

My hunch is that he meant you couldn't really taste vanilla ... so figuratively "no vanilla", not literally no vanilla.

Yeah, if you're looking for BCVR levels of vanilla, you'll be disappointed. I think it has a much better balance of vanilla, and it's far more enjoyable imo.

Well if anyone has an extra bottle I would love to trade for it. Today was my sons 5th birthday plus with it being a special Father's Day release would be cool.

Nothing like splitting a Nooner with your 5 year old son for a great bonding experience. :grinning:

As stated vanilla was subtle. You can get it on the nose but not much on taste. It was pretty similar tasting to Rare. Interested to see what it tastes like in several months.

They don't have anywhere near the capacity to do 1000 much less 3000.
Had to have been 300-400 max.
