I didn't pick up my mango hottenroths until about a month ago and recently had both of them, and thought they were great. No noticeable off flavors at all.

For some weird reason my Hottenroth w/Peaches tastes like Andersen's Pea Soup, not butter.

Agreed. The ones on tap have been bright and acidic. The two bottles I've had have been a completely different color from on tap. It's drinkable.. but it's not nearly the same beer. Granted when I say drinkable, i mean I drank 3 oz of it and didn't drink it again.

Ya mine was not that great either. The first scent I got was of bile. I'm lucky I only bought the 1.

Feeling lucky that I passed on Hot Pea right now. With the money I spent in May, knowing there's still a lot to come this year and no hype about this beer before the end of the allocation period made it easy for me.

The Hot Pea I had on tap last month was just fine, nothing incredible, but tasted appropriate. I had literally one sip from my bottle and had to immediately drain pour. It was not drinkable whatsoever. Hopefully it was only 1 of the 3 I purchased since there does seem to be some bottle variation. I'm sure by now the Bruery has received emails and seen our posts. Should only be a matter of time before we hear something.

Hot man took a while to clean up in the bottle. Thinking hot pea will be the same..
But if you got hot pea from the hot man, you got a std son :grinning:

    What made it undrinkable, diacetyl?

I got an email says limit 2, but store says limit 1. I'm thinking the email was copy-and-pasted for RS from HS email.

"We're excited to let you know that we have opened up sales on some of our favorite beers from earlier this year. You have a two bottle limit on each of these offerings. And, don't forget, nothing is guaranteed during these second chance windows, everything is first come first served, so act fast if you are dying to get more of these beers."

First time checking in today... not sure if anyone noted (and also too lazy to scroll back up) that RS treatment drawing tickets are available now.

That is all. Sorry for the inconvenience. Over and out.

It looks like they fixed the bug that let you see how many bottles are left.

I'm no expert, but from my understanding that is most likely what it is since that is commonly associated with the "butter" flavor. All I know is it tasted nothing like the pours I had on tap at the Tasting Room, and was not palatable.
