Enjoy by 7.4.15

No sixers in AZ this time, unfortunately, but I killed 2 of the 4 bombers I bought, and this batch roooooocks!! I thought the 2.14.14 was the gold standard, but this one might be a little better. Tropical, dank, and fruity, what more could a hophead want?! Maybe my favorite DIPA, and certainly on the short-short list with the best!

 

$16.99 6-packs at downstate IL Hy-Vee stores. Also one of my favorite DIPA's. Price equates to a $11.33 4-pack, which makes it cheaper than some other great DIPA's like Burton Baton. My palate agrees with this very tropical, medium mouth, bitter brew.

 

Purchased sixer, bomber, and growler in Woodstock, VT today.

 

Have 6 packs seemed scarcer in anyone else's area? All I found were bombers today. I figured they would have produced more 6 packs this time around.

 

It made it to CT finally! They said it was't coming! Found it today. Happy Father's Day to me!

 

Great feedback from the brewery. I have a bomber at home, keeping for a major tasting (don’t worry it will be before the Enjoy By date). This one has been a want of mine for a long time.

Funny about this beer. Some places sell it like crazy and then I'll walk into a place and see cases of the expired releases sitting around.

 

Wasnt difficult to get 6 packs by me last time so Im sure I will just grab one out of the cooler when I eventually make my way to the shop this week.

 

Really? I picked up some in southern CT back on June 11th. I even got one of the previous versions (Enjoy by December something 2014) back then, too. Wasn't aware there was discussion of it not coming here. Seems like we got a crap-load, too.

 

The last few Enjoy By have not really thrilled me. I think future releases I will skip. Not that it is a bad thing or a bad beer but stone's IPAs all have a very similar quality to them and I find it less and less enjoyable each time, very bitter and just not much else. I've been able to pick out stone beers just from a sniff and taste.

 

7-4-15 is hitting all the right notes for me. Bought a 6-pack and tore through it pretty quick. Went back and got the last 2 sixers they had. I personally love most of Stone's offerings with Enjoy By being my favorite. I really like the new Ruination 2.0 and bought a sixer of that for a side by side with Enjoy By. Cheers!

 

I imagine that is mostly a California phenomena.

Sixteen times over fourteen tours over 34 years. I have a ticket for one stop on this current tour as well in Vegas in July.

 

I am behind you. 10 times and got 4 tickets for the July 27th show in Phoenix. Taking the kids for their first show.

 

So on to 7/4/15. Not one of my favorite releases. Rate it average over the course of the enjoy by's. Not that I won't finish the remaining 2 bombers.
