Hope that this shows up tomorrow in NN, VA. Will report back. But if it's July 1, then so be it.

I just can't figure out why FW takes so long to male it to VA. I don't think I've ever seen Double Jack less than 2 mo. old.

Grape and Gourmet in VA Beach got it yesterday but I missed out before it was snatched up via FB holds. Hoping to get one via Total Wine this week if it comes in.

I don't chase beers but stopped by Total Wine Monday evening and saw a case of it at their growler station. Snagged one bottle, pretty excited to try it.

I am so glad that I was able to get this without a hitch this year and wound up trading it, I added a Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Stout, for Mexican Cake. It was definitely one of my better trades that I have been able to pull off. Its definitely an interesting beer that is delicious. If you have not had it, its worth trading for and/or buying. It doesnt have the lure of Parabola or maybe even Sucaba but its definitely well worth it.

Cheers to all those that enjoy the barrel aged Firestone beers, looking forward to Helldorado!

I managed to collect quite a few bottles of this and I love how it's drinking now. Curious to see how it holds up over time...

This year's is the best batch I remember. I actually think this is as good as Parabola and better than Sucaba.

What's the consensus thus far on this years release? Yay or nay? I spotted two nearby me but still undecided at almost 22$ when last yr I purchased them for 15 or 14.99 iirc (still have three left) <--- or do I have2? I forget.

In NYC? On BeerMenus the last 3 weeks the only place that seemed to have it was Bushwick's Fine Fare Market. I know everyone doesn't put their stuff on beermenus, but this seems like it is not in too many places in NY and NJ.

I will echo was has been said many times in this thread: this is one damn good barrel-aged beer. I like it better than this year's Sucaba.
