I'm going to be in town mid July and was wondering how busy the Bruery taproom gets on Sundays? I imagine we would be there around 1:00.

Earlier is busier on Sundays but if you don't mind standing or grabbing a barrel until something better opens up, you will be fine.

I love my 32oz growler, I use it all the time, I use it hiking, playing sports, and filling beer. I have never had a problem with it holding liquid, both alcoholic or not. I have noticed that some people don't tighten it enough and it could cause leakage if I had not tightened it. So maybe some of y'all should just check the growler and tighten it if needed, or go to the gym if you can't tighten a lid.

The bruery has openly admitted they had issues. They even had hydroflask come down and inspect them and found faulty ones. Considering this is public knowledge, why would you assume the user is at fault? Clearly there are defective growlers.

I've had the plastic around the outside of the cap bunch up in my hand and almost split because of how tight I have gotten this thing. It's loose now. I don't think people should be overburdened with the cap. Other places have easier ways of doing this. The growler is nice, I love the beer, but it may be time to re-think this.

I have it on good authority that they're looking into it and something will be posted when they know more definatively what's going on.

It's not the lid itself that leaks, but the rubber gasket between the growler and the lid. No matter how tight the lid is beer still manages to leak out from underneath that gasket.

Well, apparently I am wrong if the bruery is openly admitting it. I said that because twice I have had it filled (once at the bruery and once not at the bruery) and I noticed when I turned it upside down that liquid came out. I tightened it and my problem was solved.

When it comes to filling my hydroflask with beer, it leaks randomly. When I fill it with ice water and go bike riding or hiking its pretty much the best water bottle I've ever used. I feel bad that the bruery tried to give us a nice 32 ounce growler and have gotten a lot of headaches over it. Hopefully it gets sorted out, if not, I'll still use it for water

This is actually the worse part of it. They were trying to do something nice and it backfired for a considerable amount of people. At least they are doing right and replacing them.

I love the growler as well and luckily didn't leak. It is nice for a mock water bottle.

Wasn't that our "1 piece of high quality merchandise" and not just a bonus gift? If I'm correct, then it wasn't them just trying to do something nice but something they had put value to as part of the membership fee.

You're correct, but what I meant was they didn't just give us a hat. They gave us something cool that we can use.

Totally agree! I have to say that after all the issues with the hydroflasks, I'd rather have a 2nd growler bag from last year, but either way, it's still a cool thing to be considered a "1 piece of high quality merchandise".

The flask has been totally fine for me... I have had it filled at the Bruery a number of times and even shipped one filled.

I've had a little bit leak out of my growler, but that was about it. I just wish they offered more options for filling it, and changed them a bit more often. I was quite happy to get growler fills of Sucre variants!
