Well, all of this talk about AA hints, I figured I'd share some pron from @treznor for this f**king gem of a box. Dude, I could not be happier. And it was awesome to see the box waiting on my desk after just giving an hour long webinar to 100+ people.

Damn, it's going to be a long day at work knowing that a box is waiting for me at home!

 

I couldn't remember if I'd sent you Event Horizon before or not. The first couple of boxes I sent out was before I started tracking my trades with a spreadsheet, so I wasn't 100% certain what was in the boxes. I figured even if I did send it, it would have been the 2013, so now you have a small vertical (with two different labels as they changed all of their labels in between 2013 and 2014).

The Dweller I hadn't been a huge fan of in the past (which comes through in its BA rating as its in the upper 80s), but a buddy of mine just cracked a new one open and gave me some and I was really impressed. Not sure if they changed something or if its was just a 'right-day-right-time' kind of thing, but this beer has moved up a couple notches in my eyes.

Skillet Donut Stout is supposedly even better in the can that it was on draft. I haven't opened a can yet, but I thought it was a damn good beer on draft, so I'm really glad to see this. Hope they can this on a regular basis (though its a tiny operation, so no idea if that'll happen soon).

The WW growler is Freak of Nature Filled on Saturday when I went to the brewery. They had Menage a Freak (their Triple IPA that's only brewed once a year for Asheville Beer Week) on tap as well but no growlers on that one.

Boom. Russ got it. For @Mikexw My dogs favorite football player is JJ Watt. She likes him because he seems respectable enough off the field but is an animal on the field. Also when the Texans would play she actually would watch the game it seemed like but she is still a Patriots fan to the end with me. Also I wouldn't really give Texas one star but was more a hint towards Texas being the lone star state. Oh and @rspauldi get your stuff straight if you were paying attention you would know you have two boxes waiting IN your porch not one box

 

More Event Horizon is always welcome (saying this even though I have not tried it yet). I have a feeling it'll be a beer that I really enjoy! I will be doing that 13/14 side by side this weekend for sure.

I will let you know how the Skillet tastes out of the can later tonight. Also really looking forward to Freak of Nature. Will be doing some good drinking tonight. Thanks again, I was overjoyed with the box you sent. Cheers bud

How's that working for you in Indiana? Having lived in Indy for a long time I know how they feel about the Cheatriots. Maybe it is more muted in your neck of the woods, but you would take a LOT of slack about that in Indy.

 

Galavanting of course! The wife (or dog walker, whichever gets there first) will bring it in and pr0n will be provided Thursday night or Friday (depending on how horrible travel is on Thursday). I saw it was out for delivery a couple hours ago, can't wait to open up the goody bag!

 

Sorry about the packing peanuts, they do work quite well when a 12 bottle (or 13 in this case) shipper isn't available!

Yes "150 max" but I think we were split into groups of people who wanted to stick to 150 and people who didnt like their porch. I think you said you needed a new one so the 1 in 150 might have been replaced with a number slightly higher.

Oh its not that bad up near me as I am closer to Chicago and half the Chicago fans dont like Chicago lol. I catch the most trouble from people saying I only like them because they are good like any team that is good isnt allowed to be fans because thats the sole reason they like them. A while back when the Lions were 2-14 I picked them as my NFC team to piss my friends off and that following year they went like 7-11 or something somewhat half way respectable. One of these days Patriots vs Lions Superbowl. You heard it here first

Not sure if anyone has informed you on the recall of that glass you're using but it's been proven that any beer drank from that glass comes with a distinct SHIT taste! I can ship you out a new glass Monday if you'd like?? Drinking from this new glass makes you feel like you just won the Superbowl!
