Everyone sold out at the cellarmaker tap takeover before 8PM. Sad day as I haven't had any cellarmaker before

 

Got to try DsotM. Thought it was good. Missed out on Mocha & Cigarettes and Mo Passion. Gone after 7. Heard Casade was busier. Still...a great event.
next date...July 11, 2015.

 

Biggest surprise of the night was the Monkey Paw.Thought that was great. And Home Sour Home continues to impress.

 

Got there at 530 and grabbed a table with the missus. Mocha & Cigarettes was fantastic. It was like a chocolatey version of Mocha Machine. Steve Surprise was great too. Dank Side of the Moon was okay but wasn't amazing. That being said, I'm always stoked to find Cellarmaker

 

Highlight of the night for me was HPB Raised Eyebrows and it still blows my mind that they are in our backyard amazing guava all over that beer, need more

 

I didn't think Steve Surprise was all that great last night at Hermosillo. But I had it after both Dank and Mo' Passion so that could play into it. Raised Eyebrows was awesome again.

 

I totally agree that Monkey Paw was fantastic.

 

Anyone know whether BWLB is serving last night's leftovers today for lunch or do they not have guest taps in order to prepare for tonight's guest, which is Societe?

 

Last night when I left at 9pm they only had 3-4 taps left not sure if any are left now but I'm sure they need to make way for tonight's event

 

Accord to what I heard yesterday at BW they emptied the Cascade beers first thing in the morning to make room for the Cellarmaker n others. So whatever was leftover from last night will probably be removed for the Societe event. BWLB these days are tapping more of their own beers at that location. So the guest beers will soon be no more from what I was told. That's at the LB location only. The SB location will still have guest beers but will also have more of their own as well.

 

What time were you there last night? I got in at 645 and was gone around 8.

 

I was there at 6:30ish left at 9pm got to stand around with the the crowd for a while grabbing as many pours of home sour home and Bernice before getting seated haha, I've had my fair share of societe so might not go tonight and save some bucks, cascade and phantom carriage is tapping their collab tonight at 6 might want to try that

 

Yea, not going tonight. Did not do the Cascade as not into the sours, yet. May do the ESBC as they have some different variants of their beers. That Mayberry and Hammerland is killer. Not going to the Phantom event as the traffic from LAX yesterday was painful. Off today but the drive from HB is just as bad at that time of the day. Have fun.

 

Grabbed my 6 bottles today. Got there 15 minutes before open and only 3 peeps in line. I appreciated the the mid week, midday release for a change.

Also, solid beer! Amazing what aging in a whiskey barrel does.

 

I think there's still some left at both locations.
