I actually usually prefer it that way, I send someone a bunch of stuff and they send back whatever they see fit. I get messages from time to time on here from people looking at Pizza Boy stuff, I'm always down to send but when they ask me what I want in return I usually just ask for good local stuff or whatever they see fit, it just isn't how I am with beer to ask for specific bottles in return for what I'm sending. Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly maybe) a lot of the non-BIF people here on BA don't know how to respond to that and some of the requests never get done.

Time to announce my 'Steps' LIF winner....

My second daughter is due to arrive on July 30th, 2015 and it seems like a trend to run a LIF regarding the birth of one’s child, here is my take on it. The person who correctly guesses the most questions below will be the winner of my LIF. All questions will be based on the day that my daughter is born:

1. Will at least 3 of the following teams (Orioles, Tigers, Astros, Mets, Reds, Padres) win their game on that date (all may not play on that day and in case of a doubleheader, they just need to win one)?
2. Will any games go into extra innings?
3. How many total homeruns will be hit? 0 - 11, 12 – 17, 18 – 22, 23 -27, 28 – 33, 33+
4. Will any pitcher record more than 10 strikeouts?
5. Will there be a game with no homeruns hit?
6. Will a player that shares my daughter’s first and last initials hit a homerun?
7. Will a player that shares my daughter’s first and last initials record a win or a save?
8. How many total runs will be scored? Correct guess will get 3 points, the five closest guesses will get 1 point each.
9. How many total hits will there be? A correct guess will get 3 points, the five closest guesses will get 1 point each.
10. Will there be a grand slam?

If she is born during the All-Star break, the above questions will be null and void and the below questions will be used to determine the winner:

1. Which team will win the All-Star game? American or National
2. Total number of homeruns hit during the derby? 0-55, 56-65, 66-75, 76-87, 88-95, 96-102, 103+
3. League from which the derby champion is from? American or National
4. Will any Detroit Tigers players have an extra-base hit?
5. What position will the MVP play during the game? Pitcher, Infield, Outfield, DH
6. Number of runs scored? 0 -7, 8-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20+
7. Will there be a save or blown save?
8. Will there be at least 2 homeruns hit by one team in the same inning?

For tie-breaker purposes, what will be the date and time (EST) of my daughter’s birth?

It's so much easier doing it this way. Anyone that's not open to sending good beer in return is questionable anyway. This is also how I recommend making regular trade partners. Just do a blind trade, and make sure you send them a quality box. If they are good people they'll appreciate it and should be open to future trades.

Dude...Absolutely no reason to say crap. My local only got 1 case of one of them and 2 cases of the others. I am pretty good friends with the owner of the bottle shop so he gives me first crack at anything that comes in and sets it aside for me. If that weren't the case I absolutely would not have gotten any of those three.

We saw that trio in PA as well.

I thought long and hard about buying one of each, but was worried they'd gather dust (as too many beers already are) so I instead spent that money on extra Forest & Main bottles to have on hand to send out to you hooligans. I don't one bit regret that decision, and if those are in my 12 Days I'll have gotten the best of both worlds
