@bowzer4birdie , you're pretty plugged into the Chi scene. Have you had any Marz offerings? Bubbly Creek?

 

Not so much, those guys blow the trumpets and sound close but I never bought one of their CDs. The old Bosstones CD was money well spent.

 

Man this stuff is good! 2nd bomber of it in 4 weeks.

 

Victory's Kirsch Gose......Nice cherry flavors, easy sour body..I really liked this one.

The Impression That I Get got me curious about ska music, especially since I was listening to a lot of alternative and grunge at the time. It connected to me on a personal level since I was playing saxophone for school.

 

I'm going to take a cue from the cats and crash after this one.

I'll raise my beer and say, 'God it's been fun!'.

Best by 7/4/14. Psh I say to that. This black ale is still damn delicious, and surprisingly hoppy. And may I say some of my favorite bottle art. Reminds me of Chaos from FFVII (just ignore this remark if ya ain't an RPG nerd as I am).

Recently I ordered every Leprous album I could get me hands on. Rarely have I been so rabidly enamored with a newly discovered band. The dynamic extremes... the range of emotions... just sublime for me.

 

All this talk about the Mighty Mighty Boss Tones, Great band, but there is better.

I really liked Self-Righteous. Unfortunately it was the only bottle in the store when I bought it. I enjoyed every bit of it.
