You should've been able to get some of your "whales" by now. Pliny isn't that hard to come by (and if you have access to Topling Goliath, you should have no problem trading), KBS is fairly easy to trade for, and Dark Lord is quite easy to trade for (or just go to DLD in April). I've been able to score Darkness in trades, same for Westy and Heady. Not searching for Mexican Cake but........

 

Just Pliny and Header Topper really.
I have been blessed with a long and rich beer tasting life.
If I ever did catch Moby Dick I'd share some of my old Courage Russian Imperial Stouts with him.

I was fortunate enough to cross some off my list this year such as Pliny the Elder, KBS and BBS. A few that are still on my list are Heady, Lawson's Sip of Sunshine, Parabola and Peche Mortel

 

I'd have to say Bell's Black Note Stout, and 3 Floyd's Zombie Dust.

I haven't been super actively seeking it out but I've narrowly missed Abraxas (or variants) on three occasions. It was on the tap list twice at Max's in Baltimore but had kicked by the time I ordered and was once on the up next list at Monk's in Philly but didn't make it on while I was there.

I've got to say, gumballhead is a tasty experience. This is the beer that got me into craft beer. When I get some more, I'll hook you up!

Pliny the Younger... used to live in Portland, OR but never managed to try it. Moved to Indiana a few years back so now my chances are slim to none.

I'll probably never get to try any of these simply because attending rare bottle releases to obtain trade ammo in order to get beers like these is really not my thing.

 

I just crossed it off a few weeks ago. Birrifico Italiano Tipo Pils.

This probably won't seem impressive to most of you, but I'm a lager guy first and foremost.
