    Happy to help!

For myself, I've got one of my NBS BIF beers in the fridge, and am hoping to pop it open today and participate in the NBS.

Unfortunately, I picked a 750mL bottle from The Bruery, a 16% Old Ale (Bois Fume), and have family coming over later for my wife's birthday, so I'll have to see if I can open it at all. I certainly hope to.

His Dad, Press Maravich was coach at N.C. State and was instrumental in a basketball camp at Campbell College where i went for several years. Pete was a mess with his floppy socks and passes from nowhere, and as my coach (Grimsley High School Greensboro, N.C.) Jamieson said, "let him score, he can't beat us".....and coach was right!

Lol! Popcorn from a can of Fosters Premium Ale....

Edit: And I've been watching What's My Line for quite a while and just after I posted this, the challenger ends up being a Popcorn manufacturer!! How weird is that??

Whoa! There's actually an official time for the NBS BIF? I didn't know that.

BTW, that Big Time glass (love going to that brewery when in Seattle, though the parking absolutely blows) would pair up nicely with that War Elephant being consumed earlier in this thread.

It could be the hands of fate, but that is an odd beer. Did I mention Manos The Hands of Fate? :wink:Anyway, try watching Plan 9 From Outer Space. It's pretty much like 'Chubby Rain' that they were making in the movie Bowfinger. I recommend Bowfinger for all of you MST3K folks

Thanks for the mentions, folks, and big thanks to all who participated and helped. @WesMantooth made some aweseome posts, as well as many others. I think it was successful enough that we should definitely make it a regular thing- and that's because of everyone involved. All I did was see that there was enough interest brewing (no pun intended ) beneath the surface, and made an effort to herd all of us cats.

Annnnnd another one goes on the wants list. The label alone is very cool, plus it sounds like something I'd dig.

Nope, no official time. It's hard enough just herding this group of kittens into a given day, let alone trying to pin everyone down to a specific time. :grinning:

Nah , sorry to confuse with my run on sentence. I mentioned in the BIF thread that I had to join my wife at a choir picnic today, therefore my participation in this NBS was sketchy at best but turns out said picnic doesn't start until 4:00. So yay beer!

I also forgot to point out that today's glassware is also courtesy of @kemoarps !

Yes the Bruery separated their sours and wilds into a totally different label...and facility. They've had a few "issues" in the past.

It is an oddity that Syracuse is now in the ACC. I hate it, but money rules.

Yessir @WesMantooth and my favorite I have to admit was @Monkeyknife 's post of WBADYN thread with the characters on it! I had to explain to my relatives in Italy why I was making "shimoneetha" with all these men and beer when I posted it to my FB! I cannot spell my families dialect. it means fool.

BTW, Big Time is on my personal "Must Hit" places for folks visiting Seattle. Very limited bottling, and not much draft leaves the brewery. Great beer, especially hoppy things, and their Wheatwine, Old Sol, is among my favorite WA beers.
