What do you do for a living, BAs?

Full time methamphetamine producer & distributer, part time pimp... Kidding! Lol, I'm a Structural support welder for a commercial construction company. I'm the guy who makes your university's, hospital's, & office's STRONG!

 

I've done something related to craft beer for a number of years, whether it's on (bartending/managing a bar) or off-premise, and a 9-month stint at a local brewery. I currently manage a bar that runs the line between high-volume music venue and craft beer bar.

It's actually painful sometimes, like last night when a young woman comes in and inquires about the Founders tap: "Are either of those All-Day IPA?" "No, that's a 2014 and 2015 KBS." "Oh, bummer."

 

Beer section manager at the local Trader Joe's. All day I stock beer, write the beer orders, and hang out amongst beer bottles, wine bottles, and mostly cool customers who like to talk booze. And the occasional college ditz who's "looking for a beer for my boyfriend...I don't really know what he likes and I don't like beer, what should I get?" or beer geek newbie asking if we still have Hopslam, 2 months after we sold out within a day.

 

Product manager for a large health tech company. My job involves patient-facing software and services.

Interesting thread, and after reading I know 2 folks for sure are aware of or use my product and I think one other person works for the same company.

I'm using the GI bill to go to school. I am a biology major, and my minor is industrial safety management. My research has included iterations of the gut microbiol in a fish model organism, and another project to develop a new way to make live vaccines.
