So let the game plan for tracking down these 6 packs(...and for the first time ever BOMBERS) begin...

"Saint Arnold Divine Reserve 12 made its way through the bottling line this past week. In addition to the usual 12 oz. bottles (available in six-packs – bottled Thursday), the beer will also be available in 22 oz. bombers (bottled Saturday) this year. DR 12 Old Ale will be released on Tuesday, July 31st."

July 31st is 8 days, 12 hours, 35 minutes, 15 seconds away(as per SA's "Countdown to DR12" webpage clock ). Time to make a game plan, people!

Haven't heard of a bottle count as of yet to get an idea of this year's availability and how easy/hard it will be to find compared to previous years... anyone know? I'm assuming they made more to account for the extra bombers.

While it is a Divine Reserve, thus making it "more difficult" to track down than say Elissa (obviously,) they did brew more of it than Homefront, which is still obtainable in Houston, Dallas, and definitely College Station.

Here is the link that explains my speculation, specifically the 24th post: http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/sa-homefront-ipa.18482/

    Hope this helps!
    Cheers man

Not quite sure of total cases/kegs packaged. I just brew the beer. I can tell you that a majority of DR releases are put into bottles.

Such a simple sentence, but it resonated in my loins awfully loud. Can I "Being John Malkovich" you?

1 22oz bomber for every 6pk huh... I wonder if that is about the ratio that they bottled the 22oz's vs 6pks? 1:6

Even though I am glad to see St. Arnold releasing some in 22oz bombers, I am still gonna be shooting for the 6pks!

Any idea how many bombers and 6 packs?

Not yet. And we may have to sit on the bombers for a few days for administrative reasons. Silver Eagle tends to be fairly generous with us, so I think we'll get a good amount.

Damn, this will be the first DR I have missed since 5. Oh well. I am sure I will come across it one of these days.

Because it will probably be gone by the time I get back to town.

Well, I was in that particular store earlier this morning and it wasn't in the cooler. I went back at about 4pm and they had re-stocked. Lucky me. The manager said "I don't think we're supposed to have that yet".
