It doesn't? I know at least the oaked version does.

Here's a thought. Don't buy your next bomber. Put the $8 you didn't spend together with the $8 you would be spending on your next bomber. Now you can buy a 4 pack [48 oz] and have $3 change instead of 2 bombers [44 oz] and no change. If you buy a $13 6 pack you have 72 oz. and $3 change.

Fine idea if you habitually buy $8 bombers, but I don't. It's those $4 and $5 ones which suck me in, even though i know in my heart I'm essentially buying $12-$15 six packs, which I think twice about.

Just found St Barnabas Abt 12 near me in 4 packs. God help me.

Uh oh, I've been "snark attacked." Typical beeradvocate....

Thanks for the math lesson brother, but sometimes I literally only have $8 left in my pocket for spending on beer. I would rather take that $8 and enjoy my friday night drinking a nice bomber, than go the entire week without enjoying one of my hobbies just so I could load up the following weekend.

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet if you want to try a beer that only comes in bomber or larger format...

I would probably feel the same way in your situtation so please accept my apology for being snarky. I saw your post and couldn't help myself.

    I'm just hoping Sublimely Self-Righteous isn't too much for a 4-pack.

Yeah, the oaked does, but it's also $18 a 6er around me. I'd hope more in the Stone IPA price range of around $11 for Arrogant.

You have the good fortune to live in a state that allows case pricing ,mine doesnt . & I'll raise you a half keg . That really makes all bottles look like a rip.
I think it's good business for brewery's to do bomers they don't need as much brewing capacity ,make less beer make more money per ounce
Is this a great capitalist country or what

I will say that I enjoy buying beers in bomber and 750ml formats. I think they look awesome and help spread the beer around more (vs 4pk or 6pk.) This is in regard to more limited release stuff, for everyday beer I do prefer 4pk/6pks/12pk/cases/kegs.

I like bombers for beers that are otherwise really expensive for a 4 or 6 pack (Ruination for instance). If I crave a certain beer, I'd rather sate that craving with a 7 dollar bomber for one night than a 19 dollar sixer. Also, sometimes you don't want more than a bomber's worth.
