OK, so I feel bad for making @Syracuse12 wait so long. Had some unexpected chores to attend to.

First and foremost, I think it important to dispel some misinformation. My wife must have been hitting the gym pretty hard the last few months. The smaller box she described as "not heavy" was nothing of the sort. Not sure what broke, but it can't have been that large because there was still some major beer'age in that box!

Second, I think I need to report @Syracuse12 to the police for stalking. Literally ever bottle (or at least the unwrapped things) are wants, permawants, and "Dang that looks delicious...how the hell was that not a want you dumb...?!" He clearly spent a LOT of time on this box, figuring out the things that I would really enjoy, and it shows in spades. I'm extremely pleased!!!

Third, there's a lot of pictures here. I recommend folks look at all the pr0nz...I know sometimes it's hard to get more than 30 seconds in (giggity?), but it's worth it...trust me!

    Drumroll...

First box (the one that had damage)

All seems well at first glance...even still bagged up! But as soon as I open the bag I get the dreaded "I shouldn't be smelling beer..." thoughts.

First, the extras (or at least, things not in in a bag...)

Aha! Growler appears to have survived (excited to try Carton of Milk!). So the question becomes...what broke? More details/comments on specific items at the end.

Next a T-Shirt that I'm extremely pumped to have! [IMG]
The beer stain tells the tale of this box...something dark? (My wife assures me it will come out...apparently she's gotten beer out of my clothes before?) Thanks man!! Love brewery T-shirts, and this one is high quality and looks sweet!

Finally, the bagged bottles from this box. Blue = 7/6. Multicolor and Pink = 7/12, Princess = 7/15 (birthday!). Birthday bag is ripped to shreds and damp, but no worries--I cannot tell what the bottle is, and am not trying particularly hard. Can't tell what the green one has written on it?

On to the larger? :grimacing: box...

First a friendly note from my sneaky stalker himself!

    What a guy!

The final extras shot. Damn son...

    Devil Dancer: WANT!
Purple Monkey Dishwasher: This looks amazing and has to be in contention for best names ever. I'm already salivating.
JO BB Brick Kiln: WTF dude, are you sure this is an extra or did it fall out of a bag? Every single JO BA beer I've had has been truly special. WANT
Carton of Milk: Have wanted to try this for a while (my old NJ huckleberry kept promising to send this, and always ended up sending something else)
    077XX: Permawant status
Carton Regular Coffee: I cannot get enough of this. One of the most surprising (in a good way) beers I've ever had. permawant. For realz.
Second Fiddle: Only had once before and would put it amongst the best IPA's in the world. I know what I'm drinking Friday night in Glenwood...
Mad Elf Ale: How was this not a WANT?? The description gave me a *earmuffs erika* @whyteboy003 chub
Maggies Blackberry Cobbler: This sounds like everything decadent and wonderful about beer in one package. Have already hidden it from my wife.

And on to the total bagged 12-days...

    July 4, 6, 7, 8 (I don't see 5...but maybe it's the green one?)

    July 9, 10, 12 (parts 1 and 2)

July 13, 14, and 15 (30 years old wut wut)

And finally, the mystery green bag.

From my detective skills I'm calling this either July 5 or July 11? The other one would appear to be the lost soldier.

Now you all see what I mean. This dude killed it! There are so many delicious beers in here (that I even know about yet!) that the UPS truck fucking ran off the road into a flooded ravine (and then lied and called it "hazardous weather").

    I like beer. :sunglasses:

@NickyPogs I thought the same regarding Matt needing 3 lbs but decided to let someone else knock it out of the park....

OK, damage is not too bad. Feeling relieved. The Jackie O beer was supposed to be half of your birthday beer. At least the other is a surprise... The green bag is 7/11 which means 7/5 is the day that broke. :flushed:. It sucks because it was awesome day, but luckily I still have one of each left which I will send to you. It won't get there by 7/5 so sub 7/11 in its place and I will replace 7/5 by next week so you can have it on 7/11. That will not mess up my strategy. I bet that shirt smells amazing... Let me know if it doesn't come clean and I'll replace that down the line.

If I were your sender....I would say all of the beers can be stored and even enjoyed at Cellar Temp...I would not say it is imperative to refrigerate any of the beers to keep them fresh in fact some are not very "fresh"

Good point, target refrigerate any beer that feels like a growler or crowler. Figure it out cuz I can't remember what days they were.

Well that's convenient because if you were my sender I would be bringing my beer for July 4th and fifth on a plane with me to enjoy while in Portland and Seattle respectively

@shrek806 Your 12 days box is scheduled to land on Thursday. Each bottle is numbered for your drinking pleasure. I found a few more extras for you, for the rest of the month. Cheers.

@JNForsyth - on the topic of growlers....

Day 1 - go ahead and put that directly in the fridge (limited release/special edition growler from a keg during my travels in Florida)
Day 2 - yeah.... I hope 2 32oz days off the bat aren't too much, but go ahead and refrigerate this too. The labels on both of those have a Day 1/Day 2 sticker over them so don't peel them off until you're ready to "open" or drink the beer.

Finally, be sure Thomas is present when you open the 12 shipper box and tell him to refrigerate immediately! (I hope I got the name right)

No problem on the first two items. Thomas is my youngest son, I get my boxes at work so he won't be present when I open them up but I'll make sure everything that needs to be gets in our office fridge right away!

    2nd box just delivered.

Final stats. 512oz 95 weighted average rating. Several "packages" in the second box are marked with a number and an "A". Those are also to be drunk on the indicated day along with the one from the first box. Anything marked with an X is an extra.....and yes I believe 32oz extras are very appropriate :grinning:.

Also I stand firm in my belief that beer is the best swag!!

A few bottles brought the average down to 95 but they were wants or a new tick for you in a style you like and rate high......apparently you like it hot!

There are a few "very desirable New England freshies" that you might want to throw in a fridge or cooler (day 3A and the "cans" in particular. A crapton of wants hit and I had even more, but I removed a few so I could hit some even higher rated non wants/never hads!

I hope you enjoy my friend.....as I would definitely be happy to receive the boxes (well maybe I wouldn't think that the morning following a few days)

    Cheer!

@robgage I dropped off the extras (and day 10 or 11, whichever is missing) box yesterday, this box has more of an emphasis on locals than the big boys for the 12 days. People have been reporting one of those locals has been leaking/breaking though, so hopefully all of the packing material and bagging keeps things safe lol.
