I know it's dumb to complain about this when it's Alpine after all, but I'm disappointed that there's no new Web site updates or Facebook page that announces or explains the new location. Simple questions: do you still go to the old location if you want to buy bottles and growlers? What's the taplist at the new location? Menu? Hours?

Basic business and marketing communication skills. Oh, right . . .

Is the new location supposed to be a speakeasy? If not, a sign that says 'Beer Here', might be nice. I almost didn't find the place and was gonna go to bed.

To answer a few of your questions:

    * Brewery - Still the same (growlers (http://brewerycam1.alpinebrewing.com/view/viewer_index.shtml?id=486), tasters, 3 x bottle max and still the same times (Tue-Sat, 12-6)
    * Old Pub - Closed at the moment. The plan is for that to become a tasting room.
    * New Pub - Full tap list (10 Alpine, ~10 guest beers, no growlers, 2 x bottle max with long hours (11-10 I'm guessing) plus now open on Monday with an outdoor bar in the works, more menu options, more wine options, AC, more seating, more parking)

I get it's the first week (second with the soft opening), but their new place is getting tons of business. There was a 40-minute wait when I went on Sunday around 5:30 (I get that's a peak hour). Like before, I don't think they are too worried about basic business and marketing communication skills. Their taplist has never really been current either.

Cool, thanks. Any insight into why the Facebook page is de-activated? I'm hoping they don't switch to a page viewable only by FB members.

Still using paper plates & utensils? Or did they upgrade to regular plateware & utensils?

I have no idea there. I've liked them on Facebook and I just get their messages when they post (usually Tuesday and Friday, but less often the past few weeks).

Haha. Regular plates and utensils. Food prices have also gone up slightly across the board. Their guest taplist has been pretty good as well.

Maybe it was me, but it looked like food portions were smaller. Pulled pork sandwich was still bomb tho.

They actually had a guy that worked there that did a pretty good job of making that Facebook page useful. Alas, he got killed by an avalanche of asterisks.

oddly enough, he's still on the alpine webpage as a valued employee :grinning:. Maybe GF didn't buy the webpage as part of the deal.
