it really did seem like with allocation 44 cases, almost 1/4 of the bottles produced, they felt like in the past with Ideation and Darkstar, that they eventually sat on a lot of bottles before cranking them out to distribution and wanted to curb that faster this time by sealing those agreements up before the release.

At least this gives some of us a little hope of getting a bottle or two from a local shop.

I dunno, I did see Moe mention on some FB post that his shop is getting it in... So looks like you'll have to spend X amount of shitty beer to get in on that.

Lets just add him to the list of MOEs in this world. Advocates for mules, trade hyping, trade winning, i think he meets the criteria.

Hey guys, we are figuring out distribution this week. As soon as we finish up the list of spots that will be receiving fundamental I will let you all know.

Thank you so far for all the feedback, BPT has been brought up and noted for future releases.

    XOXOXO

I love how everyone is giving their two cents but, isn't taking into consideration that if this was a Cycle, DL, TG, CCB release with the same exact beer description that this would be insta whale. SR-71 was 1k bottles and $25 and pulls $300 worth of beer. Same with all the others. Finally CA gets a decent whale and of course lets threadshit this beer to death. Also how is 1:1 not fair with VR that was national distro and waaayyyy more bottles made. SARA and Alpine got their crazy whales but Lord forbid that LA/OC area get a whale

I don't think anyone's complaining that LA/OC finally has a whale, just that it's turning some people into assholes.

So when people from Cycle want 10x Bruery beers for a Pallet 1, Pallet 2, Nooner 8, Thursday they aren't being assholes? Because it seems to be the norm when a new brew comes out from them and instantly its okay to give up huge bottles for it. Why is it being an asshole when LA does it and not FL? TX JK? Midwest? Sorry but that is some bull crap that all of a sudden I'm an asshole for posting for a VR 1:1 which by the way has gotten done by 2 friends of mine.

You're not following this thread carefully at all. Many of us are talking about people hoarding, cutting lines, deliberately inflating trade value, etc. And you think it's okay that just because the Mid-west has been doing it for years it's cool we start doing it, too? Trade how you want, for what you want, I don't care. But I'm not going to sit by and resign myself to a mentality that trades off community for speculation.

I wasn't reading the prior posts. You made a statement on what I said and I replied to that specifically. Any ways I respect you @JayORear from the several times I've ran into your name before on here. I won't take this any further and bow out before this turns into a who's dick is bigger contest lol. I respect your opinion sir.

You can't and shouldn't compare your releases to ours. 98%+ of the time, depending on the situation, we are either stupid or crazy with our FT ISO. Sometimes both.

I'd gladly trade a fruited sour of similar bottle count for Fundamental Observation. Sadly, I'd probably get clowned on.

If only we had Drift here to give us a read on how many Kiwi Herman and Fou' units Fundamental is currently pulling, that could really clear things up.

Funny thing is, around 2009-2011 when the Bruery put out their first batches of Black Tuesday, chocolate rain, etc., those bottles traded very high. You could pretty much trade those beers 1:1 with all of the most highly desired BA, imp stouts at the time. My point is that LA/OC has had the "whales" you speak of, so give it some time and things will come around again, either with a preexisting brewery or one that will pop up in the future. If FO isn't the one, no need to try and push it's desirability, because if a beer is truly great the desirability for it will grow organically.
