Nice. I've got the next five days off after today so I may venture out to Braddock then and scoop one up. I missed out on the brett version of Galaxy. My wife really enjoyed the non-brett version of Lemondrop.

I got reported and limited access on my BA account because I quoted another person's post and simply said, "this post is funny".

The moderating here is absolutely ridiculous.

Do you have any special hours tomorrow by chance, or will you be open at normal 5pm time?

You may get your wish. After 15 hours of overnight work/commute my first sips were really pleasing. So much so that I was ready to go all wyckyd_sceptre gushing about the latest Roundabout offering on it but as I'm getting to the bottom of my glass and growing more tired I'm really swaying the other way. I'm going to give it another go under different circumstances and see where I end up.

You are certainly in for a treat. HSH was my introduction to Rare Barrel. I've got three others that I'm really looking forward to opening.

You are doing it all wrong. You are supposed to only have a midwest pour of ~2 oz and then you would get tired of it and you would have been raving.

Is there anything else near Braddock to make it worth the trip or is Brew Gentleman the only thing in the area?

It's a short drive to Voodoo Homestead and Blue Dust if you in that area of town.

I have a friend in town for the holiday weekend. Probably heading to BG tonight if anyone cares to join. Hit me up with a PM or text if you are around.

What about restaurant wise? Anything worth checking out? Or any non beer sites to see?

I usually don't eat on that side of town. When I have it has been at Blue Dust. I would also love to find some food options in that area.

Was going to reply with Dorothy Six as well. Very cool place with a surprisingly (at least it was to me the first time I went in there) decent beer selection.

Check out Root 174 across from D's. Or go to Squirrel Hill for Everyday Noodles, the Ramen Bar, or Szechuan menu at How Lee.

I will third Dorothy Six. It's the best restaurant in Homestead, and the closest restaurant to Brew Gentlemen.

Root 174 is amazing, but it's a little more upscale (not sure if you were just going with a bro to grab something informal).

If you were looking for brunch, I would suggest the Square Cafe, which is right across the street from D's Hot Dogz and beside Root 174.

Also agree with wyckyd sceptre's recommendation of Everyday Noodles. It's delicious, cheap, and a hip spot. It is considered one of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh, and the most expensive item on the menu is like $12.

All of these places are within a 10 minute drive or so of Brew Gentlemen, although as mentioned before, Dorothy Six is definitely the closest and easiest to get to.

Never heard of this Dorothy Six place. Very interested. Wish I would've known last week, then maybe I wouldn't have ended up at...*shudder* PF Changs.
