Yeah, I can wait the extra day for it to hit the lbs and then sit on the shelves for a couple months.

Frog is normally sarcastic, but here in SD that actually happens with this bottle. While tasty, the price point is typical LA too much.

Well yes i know about Frog's posts (he's awesome ..sometimes) and I'm more than aware Lost Abbey prices all of its beers way too high but i never have see Amarosa on a shelf, is all.
    Thanks for clarifying.
Maybe i'll actually be able to get some this year

There are several LA beers I would buy and drink the shit out of on the shelf right now if it wasn't $1.50 an ounce.

Had on tap at Copperversary. Was not impressed as I was in years past. Had a cardboard taste. Will pass.

Despite its price point I feel like every time I'm at lost Abbey framboise de amarosa and red poppy are consistently sold out of bottles. Granted I'm usually there for special releases so that might be why.

Had it at the brewery last night, as well as picked up bottles(limit 6). Tasted fantastic.

I told them to stop lining their barrels with cardboard boxes. They just don't listen.

I had a taster of Framboise de Cardboard today at the brewery today. It was delicious.

I was in TW Redondo Beach two nights ago and there was about 20 sitting on the shelf. No price listed. But the website says $15.99.

16-18 seems about average. Although I've seen 19-20 before.
