    I liked this because of your use of the word trapezoid...

    And I pretty much agree with the geographic boundaries

    And would also like to comment that Chicago pizza in general is awesome, but completely impossible to compare to NY style pizza -- they are not even the same animal.

    Glad to pay you back -- enjoy! FYI, the CL Palate Shifter is just a new name for their Captain's Imperial Reserve (they rebranded this winter I think). And the growler is Peekskill Higher Standard IIPA.

    Wait a minute. When did Italians open up a pizza shop in those areas? I thought it was just a bunch of guidos in track suits and gold chains throwing greasy cheese and ketchup on cardboard? :stuck_out_tongue:

    12 days of summer BIF starts today, several of us drinking our first wrapped mystery bottle. Mine is de Garde - Special Rouge. Lurk it up over there, some nasty bottles so far.

    I don't turn down most any pizza, but if I had to choose 1 I would go with:
    Hand tossed, buffalo chicken pizza, light on the onions (from our local Mellow Mushroom).

    @twofacedmonster I'm going with a nice thin pizza, slightly charred crust from a brick oven, with red sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, and some shaved Parmesan Reggiano.

    But yeah, as long as vegetables like peppers and onions are kept to a minimum, I'm pretty good with whatever.

    @twofacedmonster Ideal pizza is Italian-style crust, sauce, cheese and LOTS of mushrooms. Simple but I love it. Thanks for the chance!

    @twofacedmonster My favorites are a BBQ Chicken from a place called Cafe Eccell in my hometown, College Station, TX. or, as lame as it sounds, just a classic pepperoni from Papa Johns, I'm a sucker for papa john's crust.
