There is no better fit for 4th of July than the bottle @NickyPogs hit me with. Excited to try it because the Ninjas vs Unicorn series has been on my list for a while and 'MERICA.

 

I'm actually kind of glad you're taking it to a BBQ, not only because it means more people can try it, and you aren't stuck with 64oz on your own, but because the #pgw didn't make it into the box, and drinking it at a BBQ you probably wouldn't have used #pgw anyway.

edit: Now I gotta see if I have a chance to pick up the #pgw before your 2nd box goes out...

Twisted Trunk Watermelon Saison (it did not say so on the growler but after tasting and checking out their beer list, I think this is it.) - Perfect for a hot day like this one.

The Crowler will come with me to the BBQ I am invited to today and the growler will be shared with a friend before heading there.

I was pretty bummed at the end of 12 days of Xmas that I threw away my bottles and didn't get to take a collective kill shot at the end like some of the others. That is not happening this time. Save your empties so that our future sponsors will believe us!

 

That's awesome Matt, used to fish for Bass a lot when I was younger and always wanted to fish for Peacock Bass, maybe someday I'll make it back down that way.

 

Hey, @UTvols05, I got my Day 1 growler out and put it in the cooler for the cookout I'm going to in a bit. One problem: The sticker covering the written label pulled off the top of the label and I can't get them to separate, I have not idea what is in the growler???

So we are going to Greg's family's today so we will be drinking our first day when we get home.


If it was my dad's house I'd bring our perfect glassware and dark Lord no problem. I dont know what his family would say....

 

I'm guessing their proper glassware is a brown paper bag

I have no issues drinking after work, actually I try to not drink for a couple of days to rest my body, and just about every night someone takes their shitty life issues on the poor pizza guy just trying to make them food. When people who are in terrible marriages or relationships go on vacation, all their issues come out in public. When they try to order food, and can't do it without yelling screaming at each other. Than later on, its your fault cause while calling each other ************s over fighting about the order, they forgot to order something, and than its the customer is always right monster comes out. I don't have time for that.

During the last 12 days I had to do a Grey Monday into a Black Tuesday, but my wife and i were out of work nursing her back to health after her surgery so that wasn't easy, but I could nurse those all day. After I domed a Mocha Wednesday from @PG2G on vacation, and I didn't remember the rest of the night and my wife wasn't happy with whatever happened those couple of hours of darkness before bed….

But yeah, thanks for the amazing beer, the raspberry tart was amazing last night and Ill find something special to do with the grey monday maybe get @Devman171 really drunk when he comes to wildwood in a couple weeks….

Wow, tons of huge bottles day one. Both in awesomeness and in alcoholness.

I'm laying on my couch recovering from too many beers last night. I snuck a peak at my day 1 bottle and DAMN @dmbforever you made my day.

Now the conundrum: I'm supposed to go over to my brothers house where there will be 4 of us and then later I'm meeting up with a local buddy and his wife who both love this beer.

Do I:
A. solo dome it
B. Share it with brother, his wife and our friend
C. Share it with my buddy and his wife
D. Share it with all of them

 

I opened both of day 1 to see what was there. I wasn't supposed to run out on the 1st day

#VBS Thank you very much, Andrew, this is amazing, it actually reminds me a lot of Fou Foune with a couple years on it. The fruit jumps out of the bottle but is much subtler in the flavor, in favor of the brett and some acidity.
