Has anyone claimed DreadPirateRobert? I might have to look into that.

In any case, I grew up outside of Boston and attendedn North Carolina State for undergrad (whose mascot is the Wolfpack)

Mine is from the Seinfeld episode where Jerry has a dream about a joke and writes it down but cannot read his writing. Amuses me....

My childhood hero, and actually the message he lived by is the advice I give to young people every chance I get. Walter Payton out worked everyone. How hard you work is the one thing you can always control. It's is how I have achieved everything in my life. Also my favorite team. He left us young, but continues to motivate many, including me. His picture is in my office.

Hometown nickname...a bastardization of Seth. Plus, 80 for my boyhood hero, Steve Largent. Not Jerry Rice.

My username was created in a time when I first discovered craft beer. The first beer that really got me in to craft was a local Porter and after that first taste, I was on a bit of a Porter/Stout frenzy for about a year (hence Porter Pro).

Was an avid Pokemon fan as a kid, so that's where the professor part comes from. The other is a play on my real name. Doesn't hurt that I teach university courses here and there as well.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but here it is. When I was in elementary school I knew this kid named Chris who made up all these weird words. He basically had his own vocabulary. "Mehina" was one of those words. I taught it to my best friend and we have been saying it for well over 30 years now. Don't ask me why. I guess we are still just that immature. :grinning:
