Ha yeah I figured it would be cheating to throw it int he NBS (it being monday and all...). Was sad I missed this week as I've still got some exciting ones from the BIF box, but had too much to take care of to make it work. Cheers!!

Headed to Wrigley with the family to hopefully watch the cubs have a successful series vs the cards. I will be bringing PBR and trying to hide and sip on blue line. It will go well with my PBR classic delivery driver shirt that everybody tries to buy off me in Chicago. Cheers.

This seemed appropriate in continuing the spirit of last weekend here with the Grateful Dead in town and all:

Off on vacation until next Monday. Figured I'd start it off with something new (to me). Another solid offering from the folks at SN.

    Cheers BA!!!

Like much of Pennsylvania, I assume, my first Shape of hops to come from Neshaminy Creek. AWESOME hop flavor, although I'm thinking of starting a thread discussing drinking from the can vs a glass. Been doing a lot of cans what with summer activities, and beer just tastes better from a glass.

if you are poring into a glass I think the can stands up to time better with fresher styles like IPAs

End of an era, started in SF with songs like this so many years ago, and it has been one long strange trip for sure, stranger than ever I dared imagine back when this song was being performed.

If you are following my travails in my GF's hometown, or you make a slightly detailed check of the photo, you might be able to guess where this is:

Standouts are Infinite Wit, Hopanomaly, IPA (west coast, for sure).
Cardinal listed as "mildly bitter"; for a pale ale, I'd say fairly bitter, but nicely so.
Ale Storm and Brunette Nut Brown are not for me.

I am interested in their Reserved Series, though.

Was able to get one courtesy of @richj1970 and after hearing others talk about it, wonder if I was overly critical. Was a fine beer, but eluded me in its appeal related to others the day I tried it. It is one I want to revisit for that reason.

Had the collaboration with O'Connor Brewing 40 Mile To the Border as well as O'Connor's part of that brew (el Guapo), but it the 40 Mile, yet. How is that one going down?

Went down very nice on a hot day. Hit the spot, definitely a technically sound beer, sorta average in most ways though.

My opinion definitely was harsher due to my drinking Second Fiddle, Heady, Julius, Sip O Sunshine, Tribute, DDH Congress Street, All Green Everything, HF Mosaic, Focal Banger, and other masterworks during the last couple of weeks, and comparing everything to those is rough. Here is my review of it
