Tried the Apricot Berliner yesterday and there was a distinct lack of Apricot. It tasted a little sweeter in a side by side with the regular Berliner but that is about it.

Stopped at BG, Voodoo and East End as well over the weekend. Finally had the Akamai and really enjoyed it. I'd love more lemon out of the Lemon Drop, anyone have a chance to crack one of the bottles?

My favorite beer of the weekend was - http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/267/127574/

Niiiiiiiice. Definitely be there after an 18hr workday on Saturday. I wonder if the barrel aged sour is ready. Or more berliners.

I actually ended up making a quick stop at brew gentleman. Sorry I didn't get up with anyone it was samples and out. Agree the akamai was good and also would have liked more lemon. Bought a bottle didn't open yet tho.

I went to BG and drank so much Akamai on Saturday. It is just delicious. I also brought a Mexican Cake and Juxtapose from Intangible. Juxtapose was really good and Cake is always amazing. Finally had the taco truck and holy shit were they amazing. I got a jerk chicken and a Thai Peanut Chicken and both were superb. Wish i would have saved room for a gyro...

I have to do a quick rah rah post because of a great gesture from @Sixpoint

They read about my "less than stellar" thoughts on the first batch of Jammer so they reached out to me with a BA mail and arranged to have a little care pkg to be sent to me (which is something I never expected or asked for)

Opened my door to a nice little box of goodies from Sixpoint sitting on my doorstep today. This was going above and beyond what I would expect from any business, especially in response to what little old me had to say.

I can't heap enough praise on them for this gesture and I can't wait to try this new batch of Jammer. Great Job Sixpoint, keep on being great! Cheers

That is awesome. It sounds like they hired some new customer engagement interns.

I checked in Bengali on Thursday with a smart-ass comment about a 'best by' date of November 17th - nothing rude. Sixpoint toasted it and then bantered back and forth with me for a bit in the comments. If I would have read your story first, I'd have asked them for a care package.

Saw that House posted they had some Enjoy After in--haven't seen it there before, but it's on my want list. Anyone have this in their cellar?

I plan on grabbing a bottle. As far as I know, this is the first non-saccharomyces beer Stone's bottled, I'm curious to see how it turns out.

Care to elaborate on that at all? They always seem to be solid for customer service and of the beers I've had, I enjoyed most. The Crisp is my favorite pilsner (a style I love) and I enjoyed Hi-Res quite a bit as well.

Knocking out batch number two for the day, then have to clean the brewhouse and I'll be there probably around 6:30 with a pepperoni pizza to share.
