Having my first Double Duckpin... definitely not #lehighfresh (5/12 canning), but it's still a damn good beer. I was a little worried after picking it up a week or so ago and seeing the canning date after being used to much fresher IPAs, but this is still delicious

So I bought some beer from Oregon, sorry I've been away Locals

 

Tonight's fun in traveling: flight had a 1 hour delay for a flat tire. After that resolved and we got up in the air, after about 20 minutes a call went out asking for a doctor. We're told we're returning to the airport and then told there's been a threat made against the plane...

So after landing (pretty hard and fast), being told to leave everything on the plane and deboard, then get onto buses, we move around the tarmac for a couple hours, get sniffed by bomb dogs, and then finally make it back to the terminal. After sending people back to the original plane in groups of 10 to pick up their things, it looks like we might be boarding in a few minutes. Again. 5 hours late.

That 6:30am meeting tomorrow isn't looking too fun right now...

Also, I know I'm not as active as a lot of you guys, but I read everything. And the generosity just displayed really makes me appreciate this group. I can see myself never going back to the viper pit because of you. My girlfriend was blown away when I told her I had 5 guys immediately offering to get her Sweet Baby Jesus within 15 minutes.

 

Meh, I work with a large India team so 6:30am meetings are par for the course. Twice a week (at least), every week, for the past 2+ years

 

BTW, two of these boxes have a 2 month old Imperial IPA. While that's fairly old for an IIPA, I think this one in particular does well with just a hint of age on it. Didn't want people to think I was sending out old beer on accident

 

That sucks. I'm glad it was just a threat and that everything is ok.
