What beer are you drinking now? #990

Visiting my band mate/ lead singer and husband in Pinehurst, NC today. Picked this eye opener up in Richmond - Vinalia Urbana, from Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, Richmond, VA:



Spicy banana nose and flavors. Mild oak with a Pinot Gris finish. Dry and smooth. Very good!

Going to be a hot one here today . Enjoying a nice stout early . Still don't get why ET is listed as NY brewery/ distributor

 

Good morning BAs! The sun is out briefly, trying to lull us into complacency, but we know it'll rain before the grass fully dries. Which leads to the philosophic question "Can there be too much chocolate?" For me, the answer is a resounding YES!



The initial chocolate aroma is so strong that I nearly gagged - at least it drops off with time. All I can taste is chocolate - no malt, no hops, just chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. Definite truth in advertising here.

 

Wait! No pix of hops or lake or fish? Man, you must really be depressed about returning to work! Have an Eddy Fitz!

Think I may have mentioned that one should be shared. Most chocolate one could ever find in a beer for sure.

Not sure, but likely because Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergso is a "gypsy brewer" and Evil Twin brews their beer at myriad other breweries....they do not have their own brewery....his "office" though is in Brooklyn NY

Yeah, I think you did. However, Mrs. Lizard doesn't drink beer, my son's at work, and my herps don't give a ff, so it falls on my shoulders alone. Sometimes my dedication to the craft can be a bitch!
