Just found some leftover in OH. Bottles have two codes on them. Top line says "155 5 2" which in Julian would be early June. However directly underneath that text it says "0512 2107" which could be interpreted as May 12th. Anyone know which is which?

The top line is the production date.

There wasn't one. You didn't miss anything. Curious what the July one will be now though...

I really can't wait to try a Lagunitas Double Alt myself!

Sounds a little bizarre. Also it says "on tap"...which doesn't bode well for it being distributed for retail, does it?

10 hours of landscaping followed up with the Citrusinesis tonight. Absolutely perfect. One of the most refreshing beers (with flavor) ever made. While in Chicago last Thursday, we stopped by the Schwag Store at Lagunitas. Wilco Tango Foxtrot was available. They limited purchases to one bottle per person. We picked up two. Never had it before, but shared with friends and really liked it. Not sure how the distro will go, but it's out there. Another one spotted on the packaging line was Imperial Pils. Keep watch for the new beers.

I didn't like the CitruSinensis bottle I picked up, but will open the High-West-ified's I have sometime and be out on the lookout for these releases the rest of the year as Lagunitas puts out some great value craft in my book

It didn't used to be so overwhelming. In years passed it was simply one of the best triple IPA's in the country.

This years batch was a bit too hot to enjoy thoroughly. Still good though.

    Anyone agree?

Hot is a very good descriptor. This was my first taste of it--not sure if we have not gotten it before or whether I have simply missed it. I prefer my hoppy beers <10%-- 6-8% is my "sweet spot."

Anyone know what the July release for the one hitter series will be? I loved the blood Orange pale

It should be arriving within the next week or two, I believe.

I was not a huge fan of Citrusinensis. While I did not dump it, to me, it seemed a little too effervescent for the taste profile.

I agree. Someone before referenced a medicinal quality, too, which I got less of when I drank it colder. So with the 'effervescent' I guess it makes it sound like Alka-Seltzer, haha. I appreciated it for what it was, but I cannot say I loved this beer. Funnier I never found it in PA, a friend did me a solid and grabbed a pack in NY.
Hopefully the dopplebock & oat wine will be easier

As someone who agrees with and participates in lagunitas style "hobbies",

I legitimately thought the one hitter was a reference to baseball.

    So there ya go.

Lagunitas pint night in Baltimore last night. Citrus pale was one of the best beers I've had all year. They had a keg of Waldo too- which I had last year in May in California and it was a shell of its former shelf. It was like a syrupy barley wine with 0 hop smell. If I didn't see them pour it is say it was the wrong tap :slight_frown:
