I used to live in Rhode Island where people would whine about driving more than 15 minutes to get somewhere.

Agreed. Screw 5pm meetings. At least the 6:30am meetings I can take from my hotel room since its me and a bunch of offshore people.

@EA728 I missed your request when you put it out as I was catching up on the thread. Just in case ALL of the other generous mofos in here fall through somehow, my local has Sweet Baby Jebus that I can pick up for you.

Alright locals, anyone feeling adventurous? Spring House is opening their new facilities this week and is selling all I purchased bottles to their Barrel Room Members first. Here is The email with the bottles for sale:

    Dear Member,

I will be activating the following bottles for purchase. I apologize for the
delay, we are very busy preparing to open our doors but wanted to give our
members the first shot at these bottles ($22/bottle).

    Blood Lust, Pappy
Blood Lust, Rum barrel w coffee
    Dean with Raspberry
    Dean with Cherry
    Big Gruesome
    Kerplunk

Your bottles can be picked up at our 209 Hazel Street location with proof of
purchase and photo ID by Sunday August 9.

    Cheers!
    Matt

Let me know if anyone's interested. I think they are $22.72 or something after tax.

Since @Houser* has decided to sit on his bottles of the potentially best bottle Pappy Blood Lust and try to flip them for Whalez I've decided to throw one of my Pappy Blood Lust in the forge for tonight if we choose to open in @UcDru, @ninjembro, @JNForsyth, @Mipper

*This was pure sarcasm, as Houser is as down to earth as they come when trading/giving away beer.

And also already opened up his allotment.... He is making a pretty tidy profit reselling them though.... That bastard is charging $23! :stuck_out_tongue:

I see the smiley but after tax I'm pretty sure they are $23.32 (I think there's tax involved) so he's actually losing out!

Anyone know @Houser's PayPal account? I want to PayPal him individually $0.32 for each bottle he picks up as a gesture of good faith on behalf of us locals. And if he has a taxid number for said donations please pass that along too!

I am amused. Hell, it takes 45 minutes from Dallas to Ft Worth on a good day.

@LehighAce06 was assuming no traffic. I know Dallas has bad traffic, but I would wager that NJ traffic matches it. Hell it takes me 75 minutes to get to work despite the fact that I live less than 20 miles away.

True story... Especially on a Saturday during the summer I'm sure it would take a lot longer than 45 minutes to make the Trenton-beach drive. Reinforces my suggestion for @Devman171 to come toward Philly instead of toward the beach.

I honestly wouldn't mind a pappy blood lust but if we're gonna open one tonight I guess I'll reserve judgement... I saw that post in the barrel reserve thread today and heard good things about that one so it did catch my interest

this is true. i do not use paypal. good thing about checks is it prevents people that dont send checks from returning any finders fees.

    @Devman171

If you are going to be near Trenton, you could stay a little bit south and hit up some breweries. Spellbound, Village Idiot and Neshaminy Creek are easily accessible from the west side of Burlington County and an easy 1-2-3 trip.
