Yep. Just checked my membership benefits. Cool anyway. No actual additional savings but mentally I'm now saving another 5%!

I was surprised to find that I only spent a little over $1400 through June this year not counting the initial RS buy-in. No HS for me, obviously.

Got my renewal email today as well. No HS here either, which is weird because we (I split the membership with a friend) have been doing nearly max allocations for the past couple years.

Only thing I can think is that you have to hit some # spent, and then from there it goes into a lotto.

Please don't start this again. Every year the thread gets shit on with endless pages of "I spent x and got (or didn't get) an invite, and went to the tasting room x times."

So when are they opening membership for RS? I am PS now and did not get an email so I assume this is coming later once they know how many HS and RS renew?

I read the email as Wineification is not included for RS. It does not say it's an HS exclusive in the HS email either. HS gets it for free and RS has to pay is my take.

Lol fine fine fine. Let's not do that. It'll just make me sad anyways.

    Got my HS this year!

Until today I wasn't sure if I won't split the RS with a friend or not renew at all, but few things convinced me to stay (and upgrade!):
    - Three bottles of Mocha Wednesday™
    - A New, Hoarders Exclusive Black Tuesday® Variant
    - Boysenberry Sour Blonde
    - Sour in the Rye® with Pineapple & Coconut
    - Wineification™ IV
    - Fruited sours. Wild beer. Gose. A series of Berliner Weisses. [...] perhaps the return of a cult classic or two... [...] New applications of our White Oak Sap and additions of coffee.
    - Excited for the new location!

Things I'd love to see changed:
    - A new cocktail-inspired beer. Not a fan of those.
    - Growler options and policies. I feel that this needs some attention. I filled my hydroflask once (when it leaked) and then I never had any interesting options available to be honest

How are they inviting RS members into HS if they don't even know how many current HS members will renew? Makes me think they raised the cap of the HS.

Had the opposite reaction, has there been a good Hottenroth variant yet?

Another invite back into RS after maxing for the last year. I'll be renewing and won't be bitter about no HS!

As mentioned by several others: SITR with pineapple and coconut. Done deal with that.

I had hoped with the Hydroflask we'd finally start to see some cool options, but it continues to be pretty weak.

The watermelon variant at the party was great. I could drink that all summer.

Couldn't agree more. Enjoy sharing my RS allocations at bottle shares and meeting all the folks in the tasting room/society desk for pickup. My absolute favorite is sharing them with family members or friends who have no idea what craft is out there and have never tried to wander outside their comfort zone. I look forward to renewing on the 13th.

Am I the only one struggling to follow the logic of this? Are they suggesting we intentionally spend less for the rest of this year so that we have money left for next year? That we shouldn't renew for next year because we'll be broke from buying the rest of this year's allocations? That we all get second jobs to help cover the costs?

I assume the real reason for moving up renewals is to benefit the Bruery, not the members, but if they're going to offer a pretend reason, why not use one that's easier to follow?

I read it more as 'we are moving it up so you don't have $300/700 renewal the same month as a large allocation.'

Nope. I think they were trying to spin it as doing us a favor by taking our money now since there are so many allocations left, but that sort of implies that we're incapable of budgeting. Everyone knows there are 30 allocations left and that we'll have to pay renewals at some point, taking our money sooner isn't really doing us a favor.
