Yes, not to speak for Sixpoint but Jammer was redone and rereleased. There is a BA thead on it - http://www.beeradvocate.com/communi...mer-gose-may-2015.283278/page-11#post-3843075

From what I read, the Best Before October are the old batch, Best Before December are the new batch

They're doing work... I think this is the 3rd or 4th pic of them brewing/barreling Black Magick. Such a tease.

Driving from Cleveland down to a wedding south of Pittsburgh on Saturday. Looking for a good place to stop for an hour or two. Any suggestions of breweries or good bars

What styles of beers do you prefer? What types of bars/breweries do you prefer?

I know a ton would recommend Fat Heads in the South Side (but you are in Ohio so don't know if this is ideal). If we had some of your preferences we could do even more.

Where is the wedding? That could help us recommend something close by.

The wedding is in uniontown. Like all styles. Don't want to go to fat heads because it is only 20 mins away from where I live. Been to meadville location of voodoo. Always like their beer but the are having so,e event on Saturday and don't want to pay 25 unless, they got some special stuff on draft.

You're neither funny nor helpful. More irritating than anything.

Usually, they will have something good on for events and their one-offs are always top shelf. They are your best bet. Uniontown is a wasteland for good beer. You could head slightly east to Helltown on your way down but they aren't a sit down at the bar and grab a drink type establishment. It's literally a guy in a sheet metal garage who will fill growlers (their IPAs are exceptional). Hitchhiker is in Mount Lebanon and Spoonwood is down there as well but I haven't heard much positive feedback about Spoonwood.

FYI, Uniontown is south of Pittsburgh, but it is a completely different geographical location from the South Hills of Pittsburgh, which is where Spoonwood and Hitchhiker are located. Both of these breweries are at least a 70 minute drive from Uniontown.

To be honest howopeeps, I think you are shit out of luck. The only beers you can really score here this time of the year in PA that aren't available in OH are from our brewpubs. As PSU Mike mentioned above, Helltown Brewing is probably your only real option here.

That's good to know. I didn't hate Jammer, though I didn't like it either, but I found it more to taste like a plain old wheat beer (almost reminded me a lot of Blue Moon) than a Gose. Hopefully I can find the new batch somewhere and check it out. I've enjoyed a bunch of @Sixpoint stuff, the wife actually just bought a can of RAD she is excited to drink.

Roundabout opens at noon, I think or Draai Laag after 3pm. They would be fairly easy places to stop and get back on the turnpike to get to uniontown with only a little bit of a detour. Roundabout does many styles nicely. Draai Laag has nice sours and other belgian styles.

    Cheer

I'll be working at voodoo after 5 on Saturday. Say hi if you stop by then. Also might want to check out Brew Gentlemen if you're in the voodoo neck of the woods.

Yes, but official representation of voodoo events is a little above my pay grade. I don't want to give any misleading info. @voodoobrewery ?

I understand where Uniontown is. But, he was talking about Voodoo and other suggestions around the city. The South Hills isn't exactly out of the way from where he's coming. Helltown is the A option though imo.

    Now that was actually funny.
